This phone here appears to be yet another miniature version of a popular full size model, with official filings revealing something we suspect might end up being known as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Mini. Could do with a smaller name, too.

Just the other day, a story made its way around the Internet that involved a man reportedly being saved by his cellphone as it was able to stop a bullet that was fired at him from a fleeing criminal. The cellphone the gas station attendant was carrying was an HTC EVO 3D, which we now know is strong enough to stop a bullet, and as a result of his incredible story, HTC has decided to do something special for him. The excitement around the launch of the PlayStation 4 is certainly building as we’re now just 15 days away to the start of the next generation of video game consoles. Back when Google Chromecast was first announced, the company mentioned their little streaming media device would be able to stream music from services like Pandora in the future. It looks like we’re now living in the future as an update to Pandora will now make it play nice with Google Chromecast.
Before you rush over to your phone to update Pandora, you should know today’s update is only available for Android devices. Pandora version 5 will now feature the well-known Chromecast icon that allows the service to magically stream itself onto whatever the streaming media device is plugged into. (more…)

Whenever Angry Birds developer Rovio announces something, the tech world tends to take notice considering just how massively popular their bird-flinging game has become over the years. Today is one of those days as Rovio is announcing a new iOS and Android game called Juice Cubes.
Juice Cubes was developed by Thailand-based Pocket PlayLab and is described as a “fun and fruity puzzle game” which features rows of colorful cubes that players need to connect in order to create “massive combos and explosions.” In other words, it’s a match-3 puzzle game, so those of you with a Candy Crush Saga addiction would probably want to take note of Juice Cubes.
