Google Reader Gets Updated

Google Reader Gets Updated

Google Reader has finally gotten some features that it has needed for a long time. There is now a new Settings page that allows you to manage your subscriptions. Using the new Settings page you can delete subscriptions in bulk and you can even rename a subscription.

The menus, also pictured to the right, allow you to easily select your subscriptions or labels. The new menus let you access your subscriptions/labels quickly without cluttering up the page like before.

These new features greatly enhance the usability of Google Reader and make me love it even more. Even thought the new features are great it is the Google Reader Module for my Personalized Homepage that I couldn’t live without.

Since CNET first broke news about Google’s connection to a mystery structure atop a barge in the San Francisco Bay last week, the Coast Guard has said almost nothing about the project.

Now, information obtained from the Coast Guard by The Day Connecticut through a Freedom of Information Act request suggests that the structures aboard the mystery barges — one in San Francisco Bay and another in Portland, Maine — are meant to be moved from city to city.
