We have seen purported press renders as well as leaked images of the Nokia Lumia 1520 in recent memory, but enough about photos already. What would be more interesting would be the “meat” of the issue, which would mean the hardware specifications that might be a whole lot more interesting that just some pretty photos shot on the sly. Well, while we already know a fair amount about the Nokia Lumia 1520 such as a 6” display, a Qualcomm 800 CPU, and a 20-megapixel PureView camera, so here are additional details that will help complete the list.
It seems as though the Nokia Lumia 1520 will come with 4G LTE connectivity to keep up with the times, a 2GHz MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 CPU with Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, a choice of 32GB or 64GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot just in case all that memory is not enough, a beefy 3,400mAH battery, and wireless charging capability, all crammed into a body that measures 152mm x 81mm x 8.7mm, where it would tip the scales at 160 grams.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 will be announced this coming October 22nd in Abu Dhabi during the Nokia World press event, where a global shipment should happen sometime in December this year, although folks who are rocking to AT&T should be able to get it on an exclusive basis sometime in the second week of November.

Last week, Spotify turned five years old, and to celebrate, the company released a batch of impressive data. But buried within the fun facts is a tidbit that’s just as depressing as it is surprising: 20-percent of Spotify tracks have never been streamed.
HTC One max officially announced
Posted in: Today's ChiliIs bigger better? That certainly does seem to be the case when it comes to smartphones, as a brand new genre of sorts known as the “phablet” was born some time back where it straddles the line between a smartphone and a tablet. HTC might be a beleaguered company financially at the moment after seeing their market share shrink from time to time due to the intense competition around them, but this has not stopped them from churning out new devices from time to time, and their latest effort arrives in the form of the HTC One max.
The HTC One max will basically be a larger version of the award winning HTC One, where it will include the performance as well as sleek design of the HTC One, albeit in a larger form factor. Not only that, it will also arrive with a bunch of other acclaimed features such as HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe and HTC BoomSound, which will all work alongside the spanking new HTC Sense 5.5 that will aim to deliver the best overall smartphone experience – on a larger screen, of course.
Your eyes will definitely appreciate the HTC One max’s 5.9″ Full HD 1080p display that makes it ideal for enjoying photos, videos and movies whenever you are on the move. Powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor that will be accompanied by a quad-core 1.7GHz CPU, it should be able to handle all high graphics intensive apps without batting an eyelid. The HTC One max will also arrive with 16GB or 32GB of storage space on-board, that can be augmented via a microSD memory card slot. Oh yeah, did you know that HTC One max owners will also be able to pick up 50GB of additional free Google Drive online storage?
Pricing details remain to be determined as at press time, but you can be sure that the HTC One max will roll out worldwide from the end of October onward.

There has been a lot of speculation about the launch of the new iPhones on China Mobile. The world’s largest mobile carrier, China Mobile, is expected to finally begin carrying the iPhones. It has more than 700 million subscribers, which is what makes it the largest mobile carrier. Its rivals, China Unicom and China Telecom, have already been selling the iPhones for quite some time now. A new purported promotional poster has leaked which indicates that China Mobile might release iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c on November 11th.
A few weeks back it was reported that Apple has received the regulatory approval required to put its iPhones on China Mobile’s unique network. The only thing that’s supposedly getting in the way of the release is approval from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, which is yet to issue a license to the carrier so that it can light up its TD-LTE network. When it has the license in hand, China Mobile can launch its LTE network and the iPhones are likely going to be the poster boys. The promotional poster hints at a November 11th release of both iPhones, which will have access to 100 Mbps download speeds. This would certainly be a breath of fresh air for existing iPhone users on China Mobile. It is believed that there are 42 million iPhones being used on China Mobile as it is, and they’re not even compatible with the carrier’s 3G network, users are stuck with slow EDGE speeds. Moreover, the availability of both new iPhones on the world’s largest mobile network is likely to push iPhone’s sales figures up in China. [Image via CTechCN]

It may be hard to believe, but it’s already been a full two years since the Space Shuttle Program completed its final mission and put its magnificent fleet of ships into retirement. The last of these to settle into its final resting place was Endeavor, and professional launch photographer Scott Andrews caught it all in this fantastic stop-action video for Time.
For those of you out there who have been looking forward to the release of the Xbox One from Microsoft for the longest time, fret not. It is just a matter of weeks before you will be able to enjoy this particular next generation console in your living room, assuming you were one of the early birds who placed a pre-order of the console when it was first announced. Well, the folks over at Microsoft are equally excited about the Xbox One’s impending release, and for good reason, too. After all, it will hopefully be another money spinner for the software giant, and Microsoft has already uploaded a new video on YouTube that depicts the Xbox One Friends app, as well as how it will function when available.
As its name suggests, this particular app will show off a list of all of a person’s friends, where you are able to have up to 1,000 friends. Of course, should your list happen to grow to such a length, it can be pretty tricky trying to browse through it, so you can always opt to have some of them as favorites to make it easier to connect. There is a difference between a follower and a friend, where the one being followed has a greater degree of control over what they show off in their online profile and activity, whereas a friend more or less will be exposed entirely in terms of their Xbox One profile and activity.
