Halo series spinoff Spartan Assault to end Windows exclusivity for Xbox One and Xbox 360

Once again proving the Halo adage “Spartans Never Die,” the twin-stick top-down shooter Halo: Spartan Assault lives on with ports to Xbox One and Xbox 360. Both will arrive “this December,” having first launched on Window 8 and Window Phone devices earlier this year.

X-Men: Days of Future Past Trailer Already A Massive Hit

Earlier today, the trailer of the upcoming ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ has been released and it is already a hit (hardly surprising). The embedded video alone has already gathered nearly 2M views at the time of publishing, so you can imagine what the aggregate number of view must be all over the world on all sites and channels.

In the trailer, we can see a number of familiar faces, including most of the original cast of X-Men, along with a handful of newcomers. The new movie seems to be a mix of things happening in the future and the past, with Wolverine’s “mind” being sent back in time in order to reach young professor Xavier.

Frankly, I’m not going to describe every detail of the trailer, but I recommend watching it. If you want an analysis that is nice to read, I recommend checking what Darren Franich has to say, it’s a good read. Enjoy!

You can finally replace that stack of incremental measuring spoons that never actually seem to to stay stacked with Joseph Joseph’s new 2-in-1 measuring cup, which handles both large and small measurements—even at the same time. The cup’s larger chamber can hold up to four cups of dry or liquid ingredients, while the smaller chamber in the corner lets you measure out as little as five milliliters.

These Life-Size Dinosaurs Are Made from Carved Pumpkins

These life-sized dinosaurs are made from many carved pumpkins. They look like they are a special breed of mutant, irradiated giants. Man, I wish these bright beasts came out every year, only on Halloween night, only to disappear in the mists come morning. I would be an awesome mutant dino hunter. I would make glowing pumpkin pies from their carcasses and every Halloween, the hunt would begin again.

Well, I’m just going to have to settle for these awesome pics. These giant dinosaur skeletons were on display at The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze in New York for the last few years. They do a dinosaur category every year and the creations are amazing.
