Photo Shows LG Canada’s Warehouse Stockpiled With Nexus 5 Handsets

Photo Shows LG Canadas Warehouse Stockpiled With Nexus 5 HandsetsApart from the joy of purchasing a brand new gadget, the next step would be to tear open the box and play with our brand new purchase, so you can only imagine how hard it would be to resist the temptation of sitting in a warehouse surrounded by thousands of unopened Nexus 5 handsets! Thanks to a recent photo that has made its way online, courtesy of a post on NeoGAF, it shows off LG Canada’s distribution center where we can see boxes upon boxes of unopened Nexus 5 handsets, all of which sports LG’s branding, along with one retail box sitting on top of the other boxes. According to the source who supplied the photo, LG Canada’s distribution center allegedly sits on about 30,000 Nexus 5 devices, suggesting that the Canadian market will have a lot of Nexus 5 stock at the start which hopefully will keep many customers happy before it runs out.

Of course there’s really no telling if the 30,000 number is to be be believed, but what can be believed is that the Nexus 5 handset are primed and ready to go. Google will be hosting an event in Tel-Aviv come 5th of November where the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat platform are to be announced/released, so it is possible that the stock in LG Canada’s distribution centers are simply waiting for the green light to go ahead with the release. So, who else is excited for the Nexus 5?

Nexus 5 Camera Samples Make Their Way Online

Nexus 5 Camera Samples Make Their Way OnlineGoogle’s Nexus 5 handset has been tipped for announcement on the 5th of November at Google’s Tel-Aviv event, and based on the rumors, the handset is pegged to sport an 8MP rear-facing camera with built-in optical image stabilization, which on paper should result in a pretty decent camera. Well thanks to a series of posts on a Google employee’s Google+ account, a couple of images taken by the Nexus 5 have made its way online. However some of them have since been removed at the request of the user to protect their privacy, but the image above is one of the samples pulled from their Google+ page.

As you can see from the photo’s EXIF data, it clearly states that the device used to take the photo is that of the Nexus 5. Granted EXIF data can be faked, given the handset’s impending announcement, we’ll have to give this the benefit of the doubt. Based on what we can see, the image appears to be pretty decent in terms of quality, color reproduction, and white balance, although we’ll probably have to get our hands on the phone to test it ourselves. In any case we’re sure many are excited to get their hands on the upcoming Nexus 5, so be sure to check back with us on the 5th of November for the details! In the meantime what do you guys think of the image sample so far?
