Google Street View adds panoramic peeks at airports, train stations and subway stops

Mountain View’s panoramic Street View may let you virtually explore Venice, dozens of North American parks and even the inside of an Oberon-class submarine, but until now, you had to figure out the train station on your own. Not anymore; Google’s latest Maps update focuses on the journey, adding Street Views of over 50 train and subway stations, 16 international airports and even a cable car station in Hong Kong. Google pitches the new views as an easy way to hammer out the physical logistics of travel, though it seems to cater to international travelers: so far, almost all of the updated panoramics are located outside of US borders. Still, we can’t complain — Street View is now the fastest way to get through airport security.

‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’: Was This The Stupidest Fight In ‘Housewives’ History? (VIDEO)

Joyce Giraud de Ohoven is one of the new housewives on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and she seemed determined to try and make a name for herself. Housewives can become famous for the epic fights they get into on the show, but this wasn’t going to be one of those. Joyce confronted Lisa Vanderpump to tell her how rude she was — and it was all over hair.

“You were so rude to me the first time,” Joyce said. “I was just fixing your hair.”

“And I said, ‘I’m okay with that,'” Lisa replied. But it was the other part of what she said that bothered Joyce. Lisa also told Joyce to just leave it, it’s fine. And that she doesn’t care.

Qualcomm’s Mirasol smartwatch display debuts in Appscomm Fashioncomm A1

If you walk through a Chinese electronics market, you’ll find countless wearables, including a variety of smartwatches. Why, then, is this China-exclusive a significant introduction? Well, the Appscomm Fashioncomm A1 is the first smartwatch to include the Mirasol display we first saw in Qualcomm’s Toq prototype, which means that 1.55-inch MEMS panel is actually coming to market. The A1 delivers much of the functionality we experienced with the device in our September hands-on, with an added GSM chipset, enabling you to make and receive calls directly from your wrist.

It’s not the first watchphone we’ve seen — and past iterations can hardly be deemed a success — but as the first such device to integrate Qualcomm’s new Mirasol panel, it’s at least worth a casual mention. With the A1, Appscomm is also bundling an integrated camera, letting you snap stills and video clips a la Samsung’s Galaxy Gear. There’s also Bluetooth connectivity, along with a 450mAh battery that’s rated for up to 190 hours of standby time. Smartwatch enthusiasts based in China can pre-order the device for RMB 1,299 ($213) beginning today.

Kelly Ripa And Jimmy Fallon Get Fit With Orange Sauna Shorts On ‘Late Night’ (VIDEO)

When Kelly Ripa dropped by “Late Night,” Jimmy Fallon couldn’t help but bring up how incredibly in shape the “Live” host is. In fact, he found a fitness tool he wanted to try out with her: sauna shorts. Of course, Ripa was game, and it was only a moment before the two of them looked absolutely ridiculous with the shorts pulled up over their clothing.

“We should order pizza and wear these,” Ripa suggested. “One will, like, take away the effects of the other.”

“It’s almost like you can’t even tell we’re wearing them,” Jimmy said of the bright orange shorts. But the two stayed in the shorts for the rest of the time Ripa was on the show, including during the game of Pictionary they played afterward. Perhaps it was the shorts, but Ripa became obsessed with one specific part of the human body, drawing them pretty much every time.

If you own a Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play edition, you can now put down your pitchfork and stop dripping with envy. Kanye West’s Diamond Teeth: Is He Embarrassed By His Dental Decision? (PHOTOS)

Hey Kanye, how about you give us a smile?

We couldn’t help but notice that Mr. West keeps an awfully stone cold face in photos, which is strange because he’s got plenty to smile about.

Then we remembered that the 35-year-old had some awful dental work done back in 2010, when he replaced his bottom row of teeth with diamonds. West explained his decision to remove his teeth in favor of the highly pressurized carbon, telling Ellen Degeneres: “I just thought that diamonds were cooler. It’s just something that rock stars are supposed to do.”

‘Dancing With The Stars’ Results: Bill Engvall Eliminated In Part 1 Of The Finals

After far too many weeks, according to “Dancing With the Stars” enthusiasts, Bill Engvall finally danced his last dance. The comedian outlasted many celebrities who outscored him on the dance floor week after week, making it into the first part of the two-night season finale. He fell just short of the finish line, though.

Once again, Engvall had the lowest scores on the night with 51, but this time they would prove his undoing. Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke scored 57, so they’re going to have to step it up. The other competitors on Tuesday night’s special episode are Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff, and Amber Riley and Derek Hough.

Engvall was gracious in his departure, saying, “It just goes to prove to me, there is a God! Because I don’t think I could make one more dance.” He had nothing but praise for his partner Emma Slater, saying she’s like a second daughter to him.
