This is so hilariously on point. It’s basically every silly Internet slap fight made infinitely fancier and thus even sillier. Seriously, watch these two old men perform a dramatic re-enactment of a YouTube comment fight over Harry Styles of One Direction between YouTubers Sophie Danze and JilianLovesTheBiebs and just enjoy the hell out of its genius. Their tone, their beats, their pronunciation of Bieber and One Direction and Harry are all just fantastic. I can watch these two guys talk about anything.

There was no immediate word on his condition.
The next chapter in the adorable BatKid Saga? “Batkid Rises.”
The little superhero’s clenched fists and fearless pursuit of warding off danger captured the heart of YouTube user SandD2012, who turned last week’s events into an action-packed movie trailer that parodies “The Dark Night Rises.”
In cased you missed it, on Nov. 15 San Francisco transformed into Gotham city for 5-year-old Miles Scott, aka Batkid, who has battled leukemia for more than three years. He is currently in remission.
The Texas State Board of Education voted to approve a Houghton Mifflin environmental science textbook Friday, after some thought advocates for the oil and gas industry had tried to “hijack” the book’s adoption process.
Weighing which textbooks to approve, the board has been holding public hearings and review committees for months. There had been no concerns over the environmental textbook until a Wednesday hearing, where oil and gas professional Becky Berger attempted to persuade the board against the book’s adoption.
On Thursday, nonpartisan watchdog Texas Freedom Network expressed concerns that the board would not approve the book, as a result of Berger’s testimony.

With every launch on a scale as massive as a gaming console like the Xbox One, launch woes are bound to happen. With the PlayStation 4, a set of odds and ends appeared in the “broken” category centering on what was nick-named the “Blue Light of Death”. Here with the Xbox One, we could just […]
Google Wallet lets you capture credit card info with your smartphone camera
Posted in: Today's ChiliThe contents of your wallet are under attack. Earlier this month Coin swept in threatening to eliminate the need for all of your beloved non-cash payment methods and now Google Wallet is making it even easier to capture your plastic with its latest Android update. Along with the introduction of its very own physical debit cards, Google added the ability to upload your debit and credit cards to Wallet by simply snapping a picture with your smartphone — similar to the recent addition to the Dropbox Android app. Instead of entering your card numbers manually (such a drag, we know), those users who see a camera icon in the “card number” field of the Wallet mobile app, can capture both the card number and expiration date with a photograph.

What if you combined your three favorite things into one big toy? What’s that? You would combine beer, video games, and high definition TV? No need to imagine, folks. Such a machine exists, and it only costs $5,000.
If you recall, it was a couple of months ago that we reported on Phonebloks a modular smartphone concept which sounded like a great idea, not only in terms of allowing customers to customize their phones, but a great way to save the environment as ruined components could easily be swapped out instead of throwing the whole phone away. Motorola announced that they would be working with Phonebloks to make the project a reality, announcing Project Ara in the process. Well the good news for those who loved the idea is that it looks like the phone is one step closer to becoming a reality.
3D Systems has recently announced that they will be partnering up with Motorola to create a high-speed 3D printing platform for Project Ara. This deal is expected to last for the new few years, and if successful, will also see 3D Systems create their own smartphone enclosures and modules and will Motorola’s “exclusive fulfillment partner”. According to Avi Reichental, President and CEO of 3D Systems, “Project Ara was conceived to build a platform that empowers consumers all over the world with customization for a product made by and for the individual […] 3D printing promotes a level of sustainability, functionality, and mass personalization that turns these kinds of global ambitions into attainable local realities. Project Ara combines two exponential technologies, and we expect that the resulting high-throughput advanced manufacturing platform will have far reaching implications on the entire digital thread that stitches together the factory of the future.”
There’s still no telling when Project Ara will start making its way into the hands of consumers around the world, but it definitely looks like we are one step closer to that happening. So, who else is excited?

We have heard the rumors that Facebook had at one point in time attempted to bid on Snapchat for a cool $3 billion, which the creators of the app decided to turn down, and even turned down Google’s reported $4 billion bid attempt as they felt that they were worth a lot more. Well according to a report from GigaOm, they are reporting that Instagram could be getting instant messaging features, similar to what Snapchat is doing at the moment. It’s kind of like, if you can’t beat them, join them! After all Instagram had added video capture to the app in a bid to compete with the likes of Twitter’s Vine, so this would not be unprecedented.
GigaOm reports that this feature would allegedly be introduced to the app in a major update scheduled for release by the end of the year. As it stands there is no way to message someone on Instagram privately, and the only way to get their attention would be to either tag them or mention them in your comments. This alleged private messaging feature of Instagram is said to offer one-on-one messaging, as well as group messaging. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but what do you guys think of this feature making its way onto Instagram? Yay or nay?

2014 is the year when Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S5, but apart from that prediction, not much else is known about said device. Rumors have suggested that it could feature a metal frame, and thanks to a recently leaked photo, it seems that the rumors might be true! As you can see in the image above, it shows a frame of a smartphone that is apparently made from metal. According to the folks at Nowhereelse.fr, they claim that this is a component belonging to none other than the Galaxy s5, and based on what we can see, it certainly looks a bit bigger than its predecessor, the Galaxy S4, although we’re not sure by how much.
We have been hearing a fair bit of rumors of the Galaxy S5 for a while now, with the most recent one suggesting that the handset would retain its 5” display but sport a 2,560×1,440 resolution, giving it a pretty high pixel density of 560ppi. There were rumors suggesting a metal body as well, although these rumors were quickly countered with another rumor suggesting that it would still keep its plastic body, but would sport a faux leather back, similar to that of the Galaxy Note 3. Other rumored specs include a 16MP camera with ISOCELL technology and an eye sensor.
