The limousine President John F. Kennedy rode in fifty years ago today is an indelible part of our visual memory. That midnight blue Lincoln will be forever known as the setting of a national tragedy. Yet, after Kennedy’s assassination, the car remained in service, transporting four presidents before it was retired in 1977.
The Moto G may not reach the US until January, but that doesn’t mean it will be unavailable on North American shores until then. Motorola’s budget wunderkind has just reached the continent through Canada’s Telus and its low-cost Koodo brand. Both carriers are selling the 8GB smartphone for $200 CAD ($189 US) off-contract; thriftier shoppers can get the Moto G for free on a two-year Telus agreement, or $50 at Koodo with a $150 use tab. Other local carriers aren’t expected to offer the Moto G in the near future, so this may represent the best chance of getting the handset for both Canucks and eager American importers.

Congratulations to all aspiring crypto-currency cosmonauts out there; you’ll soon be able to use Bitcoin, everyone’s favorite pseudomonetary bubble, to book flights on Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic space boats.
Thanksgiving is coming, and for many of us, that means making an insane amount of food. While we love them dearly, they always seem to want to hover near the kitchen and talk while we do the work. Keeping five or more dishes from burning is quite a feat, especially when you only have two hands to do everything.
If you wish there was someone who would help you without inadvertently messing anything up, the Prepology Cordless Automatic Stirrer might be of use. This was inspired from a toy, and became a helpful hand in the kitchen. It’s only function, is to stir whatever you put in a bowl with it. Once you put it in a bowl, it travels all over the place much in the same way a Roomba would through your home.
There are three different speeds to choose from, that you’ll want to choose based on what you’re making. While this can handle a variety of foods, it’s best to keep this out of thicker food such as risotto or oatmeal. They need four double A batteries to function, and come in res, green, or blue. They cost less than $10, and come in a set of two. This could be a way to make Thanksgiving day cooking easier, and give you a gift for someone for Christmas. It should definitely be noted that this would be perfect for those who have arthritis, but still love to cook.

The full-frame camera has been synonymous with the most high-end DSLRs—the biggest, the priciest. Not anymore. A new breed of camera that’s light on its feet but packs the best image quality outside of pro-grade gear is here, and it starts with Sony’s new A7 series
The world of wearables – specifically with Google Glass – isn’t exactly a widely accepted one as of yet. That may all change in the near future as Google has been chatting with the eye care insurance group VSP Global, making a plan for the future in which training optometrists in fitting patients with Glass […]

Working from home took a hit earlier in the year when Marissa Mayer decided that all Yahoo employees would need to start working from a company office. The changes at Yahoo were then followed by Best Buy who similarly, pulled remote workers back into an office setting. There has been plenty of back and forth […]
If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if someone made one of Parrot’s AR.Drones big enough to sit in, then heads-up, E-Volo’s Volocopter VC200 is, broadly speaking, just that. The craft, which the company hopes you won’t call a helicopter, packs 18 electrically driven rotors on a circular frame, and has just completed its first test flight in Germany. While it can currently only hover for 20 minutes, there are plans to get it traveling at 54 knots for more than an hour at a time. If you’re curious to see it in action, head on past the break, but just be warned that it’s not quite ready to shorten our commutes just yet.
