Awesome, right?

Nintendo 3DS SpotPass messaging nixed due to misuse

It’s not unusual for services meant for innocent activities to end up being used for…not so innocent activities. Such was the case with Nintendo‘s Swapnote SpotPass feature, a messaging system that allowed images to be directly swapped with others. As can be imagined, the service was used to swap things Nintendo would prefer not to […]

Drones Causing Worldwide Spike In UFO Sightings

There was once a time when UFO sightings turned out to be easily identified objects like weather balloons, lenticular clouds, satellites, meteorites, planets, conventional aircraft, weather anomalies and other normal things.

Make-A-Wish Foundation Turns San Francisco Into Gotham City For Batman-Loving Kid

In his battle against leukemia, five-year-old Miles finds inspiration in the strength of superheroes — Batman, in particular. Next month, all of San Francisco is getting in on a stunt that enlists Miles’ help to save the city.

On November 15, the Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation is turning San Francisco into Gotham City, and when trouble strikes that morning, the city’s police chief will call upon Miles — aka Batkid — to leap into action for a day of noble crime-fighting around town.

His first act of duty will be rescuing a damsel in distress from the cable car tracks in Nob Hill, followed by arresting the Puzzler for robbing a downtown vault. Miles will then refuel at Burger Bar directly above Union Square, but mid-lunch, he’ll get a call from the police chief directing him to look out the window. He’ll see a group of volunteers crying out for his help to save San Francisco Giants mascot, Lou Seal, who’s been kidnapped by Mr. Penguin in a convertible getaway car.
