If you are a smartphone owner, I am quite sure that it is always a nice feeling to know that a software or operating system update is coming your way, as it will more or less squash existing bugs while offering a higher level of performance and efficiency – or at least, that is the way it is supposed to be. Folks who happen to own the HTC One X will finally be able to kiss goodbye to the long wait for the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update, as it is tipped to arrive later this January 29th Over The Air (OTA). Do take note that this is also the last official update for the smartphone. @moversi (a product manager at HTC) did has share that AT&T has already completed technical approval of the update, and you can view his tweet right after the jump.

The Joyboat (hmmm, somehow it does seem to make me think of a Loveboat instead) happens to be an electric-controlled ride which will be controlled using a joystick, and it has been specially designed for quiet cruising. Basically, the Joyboat is able to cruise for up to eight hours on a single charge of its battery pack, where it will cater to those who enjoy boating but do not want to blast through the waves in a loud and noisy speedboat. I guess the Joyboat will cater more for the quiet ones who prefer to cruise the waterways in silence, admiring the sounds of nature along the way. Thanks to Sky-Yacht, the electric Joyboat is now a possibility, where it will be powered by a couple of electric motors.

We have seen some pretty interesting items pop up on eBay once in a while, ranging from the bizarre to the extremely rare. Well, if you are a huge fan of Jurassic Park, then you might be pleased as punch to hear that the velociraptor cage from the classic dinosaur film franchise “Jurassic Park” is now up for sale on eBay. The velociraptor cage in question happens to be the one which was featured in the first film way back in 1993 – yup, slightly more than a couple of decades back.
