AT&T has competing in a tough market, though it appears to be holding its ground. The company has announced earnings for the fourth quarter ending December 31, 2013. Revenue of the wireless division surged 16.8 percent year-over-year to $33.8 billion, translating into net earnings of 53 cents per share, beating analysts’ estimates of 50 cents per share. Over 1.2 million postpaid smartphone customers jumped on the carrier last quarter, thus accounting for 93 percent of AT&T phone sales in 4Q 2013. AT&T also soid over 440,000 cellular enabled tablets between October and December 2013.

The wonders of 3D printing will not cease anytime soon, and with it, it would also help boost the rapid prototype technology scene. In fact, GM Design has been making use of 3D rapid prototype technology for over a couple of decades, where an elite team of 15 technicians works at the Rapid Prototype Laboratory at GM Design, churning out more than 20,000 parts which will support GM’s global footprint annually. It is said that the 2014 Chevy Malibu’s manufacturing process also includes 3D printing, and we are not surprised at all by this revelation.

One can bet that there are a lot of people in Washington scoffing at this report right now. Edward Snowden is now known around the world as the former CIA technical analyst who escaped to Hong Kong prior to leaking a barrage of top secret documents implicating the U.S. National Security Agency in widespread electronic spying programs. The leaks continue to this day, only recently documents provided by Snowden revealed that the NSA has been siphoning off personal data through popular mobile applications in collaboration with UK’s GCHQ. Some might justify Snowden’s actions, even though the U.S. has felony charges waiting for him back home. We have heard a fair bit about the yet unreleased Samsung Galaxy S5 to know that this upcoming flagship smartphone from the South Korean manufacturer is going to pack some serious firepower in its hardware – apart from the very real possibility of it featuring a 16MP camera at the back, at least according to previous leaked photo samples. Well, it seems that the ante is about to increase even further (Nokia Lumia owners, are you quaking in your boots yet?), as another sample image has surfaced, allegedly snapped by the Samsung Galaxy S5 or a variant, which does point to a 21MP camera in action instead.
