A Giant Flaming Billboard Is the Best Way To Advertise a Steak House

This billboard started life as an image of a large hunk of meat. But it was eventually consumed by flames, revealing a rather clever advertisement for a Russian steakhouse. Those were left to burn, leaving sear marks across its surface along with the name of the restaurant—Double Grill&Bar. Now if only burning paper and glue smelled as delicious as a grilled steak. Vap0rb USB Ultrasonic Humidifier keeps you hydrated at your desk

vap0rbDuring the winter, the air can get extremely dry, which is why some of us do need to rub plenty of moisturizer all over our bodies to make sure that our skin does not end up cracked. Apart from that, it would also help if there was a humidifier lying around somewhere, but sometimes the scrooge that is your boss might not want to purchase one of those for the office, which means it is time to take things into your own hands. Enter the $14.99 Vap0rb USB Ultrasonic Humidifier, where this doughnut-shaped USB-powered humidifier offers the convenience of portability as and where you need it.

All you need to do is to float it directly on a cup of water, and you will be able to enjoy hours of additional moisture within the vicinity. With the Vap0rb USB Ultrasonic Humidifier, you will be able to set it to run for 3 hours or 6 hours, depending on your preference. It will need to be near a USB port, however, before it can run, so if you’re going to hook it up to your computer, make sure you have a spill proof keyboard – as accidents do happen from time to time. Whenever the water runs out, there is an automatic switch off function as an additional safety measure to give you that peace of mind even when you sleep.

Philips SlimStyle Flattens the Light Bulb

Throughout the years, a lot of things have evolved, including light bulbs. The latest of these is the SlimStyle by Philips, which is different from all the others because it’s a flat light bulb.

    Flat Light Bulb 620x451magnify

It’s still shaped like the typical light bulb, only it’s not as three-dimensional as you’re used to anymore.

The SlimStyle is covered by rubber and has LED lights arranged in a horseshoe shape on the inside. This configuration disperses heat throughout the bulb more efficiently than conventional LED bulbs, eliminating the need for aluminum heat sinks. This makes the flat light bulbs cheaper in comparison to the non-flat ones, and they’ll be priced below $10 when they finally hit the market.

The SlimStyle will go on sale today, January 2nd at The Home Depot, with the first bulbs offering the equivalent of a 60-watt incandescent for only 10.5 watts.
