Have Some Cravings? Alleviate It With Tetris

Have Some Cravings? Alleviate It With TetrisNow this is going to sound really weird, but at the end of it all, I am quite sure that there is some method to the madness eventually. We humans do have varying degrees of cravings, be it from food or drink, or even exercise and physical intimacy. The discipline as well as mental fortitude required to withstand such cravings ranks pretty high for most of us, so what can you do if you do not possess the legendary kind of willpower required? How about indulging in a little bit of Tetris? This certainly sounds like some sort of quack science, but according to psychologists at Plymouth University, a short play session of Tetris will be able to reduce whatever cravings that you are experiencing at the moment until they wear out eventually.

Eterni.Me – Online Communication With Loved Ones From Beyond The Grave

It might be morbid and upsetting, but the death industry has always been
killing the competition (pun intended) because of the simple fact that
everyone on the planet will die. There is no other industry that caters
to a basic need of the entire world population. Admittedly, some of the
businesses in the industry, and the services that they offer, won’t
appeal to everyone; but they do demonstrate that creativity in business
isn’t dead. The latest business in the industry is futuristic, and takes
memorializing to a whole new level.

LEGO The Hobbit Hits The Sony PS3

LEGO The Hobbit Hits The Sony PS3I am quite sure that many of us out there who cannot get enough of Tolkien’s work on the silver screen are waiting impatiently for the end of 2014. Yes sir, I know that we are about to enter the third month of this year only, but still, the final film in The Hobbit Trilogy is worth the wait. In the meantime, what can one do to alleviate one’s waiting period? Why, instead of reading the book all over again for the umpteenth time, why not enjoy some gaming sessions instead? Vodafone Instant Network Mini Delivers Mobile Networks When Disaster Strikes

Vodafone Instant Network Mini Delivers Mobile Networks When Disaster StrikesDisasters can come upon us in the blink of an eye without us knowing any better. Take volcanic eruptions for instance – that, as well as a tsunami or an earthquake could just happen in a split second without any prior notice, leading to untold loss of lives as well as damage to property. In the event of a natural disaster, setting up a communications line is extremely important, and Vodafone knows this. Which is why the carrier’s philanthropic arm, Vodafone Foundation, has introduced a mobile network in a backpack format which tips the scales at 24-pounds. Known as the Instant Network Mini, it might be small in size, but huge on performance.

Hilarious monkey steals a GoPro camera and takes a selfie

Hey Mister Man, what are you doing filming us with that camera over there. Hey Mister Man, I don’t appreciate you tempting me with food to trick me into dancing like a monkey. Hey Mister Man, that’s it, I’m stealing your camera. That’s—I’m assuming—what went through the head of this funny little monkey in Bali who nabbed a guy’s GoPro camera, tossed it around, pointed it at itself for some hilarious selfies, pried the case open and removed the GoPro’s battery to the horror of the camera’s owner (and to the enjoyment for the rest of us).

    Motorola’s Google Smartwatch Prototype Spotted

Motorola’s Google Smartwatch Prototype SpottedMotorola and Google did work pretty well together, as I have fond memories of the first Motorola Droid that boasted of a solid build alongside a decent display. Well, many years down the road, here we are with a possibility that a smartwatch from Google or Motorola is not too far away from the horizon. In fact, what you see above could very well be a jointly developed timepiece that has leaked out, or at least this being a prototype of the device. According to the folks over at Android Police, what is seen here happens to be a photo of Motorola-built prototype wristwear that hailed from last year, where it was given the nickname Gem. This was meant to be an official Google device but I guess situations and circumstances have changed along the way. This particular device would be Android-powered (but of course, did we expect anything less?), where it will come with dedicated controls for fitness and voice commands.

Nokia Lumia 620 Gets The Lumia Black Update At LastThe Nokia Lumia 620, a smartphone which was announced nearly two years ago, is not quite forgotten just yet. In fact, we are more than pleased to announce that the Nokia Lumia 620 too, will be on the receiving end of the Lumia Black update. This particular update has been introduced on other smartphones which run on the Windows Phone 8 operating system since January this year, with the Nokia Lumia 720 being the latest model to hop aboard the Lumia Black bandwagon just a month back. So far, initial reports from folks living in Finland and the Netherlands do point to the Nokia Lumia 620 being on the receiving end of the WP8 GDR3 + Lumia Black combination update, where it is the last handset to receive it.
