New York Times’ iPad Air Ad Juxtaposed Against MH370 News, Causes Embarrassment

New York Times’ iPad Air Ad Juxtaposed Against MH370 News, Causes EmbarrassmentThe Malaysia Prime Minister Najib Razak had announced that Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 can be assumed beyond all reasonable doubt that it crash landed in the Indian Ocean, with no survivors from the 239 people who were on board the ill fated flight. Having said that, The New York Times’ online readers were surprised to see an unfortunate juxtaposition when an Apple iPad Air ad was placed right beside an article concerning MH370, with the underwater scuba diver in the ad located right above the headline, “Malaysia Says Jet Went Down in Ocean.”

How Global Warming Is Dissolving Sea Life (And What We Can Do About It)

The last time Earth’s oceans were this acidic, a six mile-wide sulphur-rich space rock had just smashed into the Yucatan Peninsula, unleashing a deluge of acid rain that exterminated all sea life in the the top 400 meters of the water column.
