Analyst Doesnt Think 8GB iPhone 5c And Relaunched iPad 4 Will Have Much Impact On Apples March/June QuartersA couple of days ago after some rumors, Apple really did launch the 8GB iPhone 5c and reintroduced the iPad 4 which would be officially replacing the iPad 2 as the lower-cost iPad model. We’re sure many of you guys are wondering if by introducing these products, would it be able to generate sufficient interest to impact Apple’s profit margins?

Well we can only assume that that’s what Apple had in mind, but one analyst by the name of Gene Munster appears to be a little skeptical about Apple’s efforts. Munster admits that these “new” products will have a slight positive benefit for Apple over the next two quarters, but calls it “ultimately irrelevant” for the company’s June quarter. (more…)

    EA Games Server Hacked, Used To Phish For Apple IDsGamers if you’re wondering why EA might be asking for your Apple ID and password, amongst other more sensitive information like your full name, credit card number, expiration date, and so on, chances are you might have stumbled upon a phishing website that aims to steal Apple ID information from unsuspecting users.

    This is according to internet security and research company, Netcraft, who has recently discovered one of EA Games’ servers has been compromised in which the hackers have used the server to host a phishing site that steals Apple ID from users. (more…)

Given that the platform is a little more than a decade old and with at least three generations behind, it is understandable that Microsoft would want its users to upgrade to something newer.
