The Android-based Nokia X has already gone on sale in selected markets worldwide, while there are another two Android-based smartphones which were announced by Nokia last month, which would be the Nokia X+ and Nokia XL. If you happen to own a Moto X smartphone and are an AT&T subscriber, then here is (good) news for you. Apparently, those in this particular category of smartphone owners are closer to getting their hands on Android 4.4.2 KitKat as a soak test for the handset from AT&T has already begun. It is also estimated that the update is all set to start rolling out earlier this afternoon, but apart from that, no other new information concerning this particular update has been divulged or revealed.

We have seen Google Play services 4.1 introduced earlier this January, while February brought about Google Play services 4.2. I suppose it is a no brainer then, that Google Play services 4.3 has just been revealed in March, and Google ensures that a slew of features have been thrown into the mix in order to help one improve the use of their apps. Some new members have been added into the Google Play services family, including Google Analytics API, Tag Manager, and the Address API. Apart from that, Google has also made sure that they have made relevant enhancements to current APIs.

We do know that the folks over at LG have already announced the LG G2 mini earlier this year, but perhaps there is more than meets the eye as evident by whispers that are going around, touting that LG is working on receiving a trademark for the “G2 Compact” name. Is there any good reason for doing so? Perhaps Korea-based LG intends to take a leaf out of Sony’s book with the success of the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. The trademark filing did mention that the name is related to “Mobile phones; Software for mobile phones.”

The rules done changed in F1 racing from last year to now and the most obvious difference between 2013 and 2014 is the sound of the engine in F1 racing cars.
