Acer has begun shipping their latest WQHD monitor ‘K272HUL’ in the US. This ultra-sharp 27-inch LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and provides 100,000,000:1 maximum contrast ratio, 16:9 aspect ratio and 178/178 degree viewing angles. Earlier this year and ahead of MWC 2014, LG announced their latest flagship handset, the LG G Pro 2 which is the successor to last year’s LG G Pro. From what we can tell, based on LG’s timetable from 2013, is that the South Korean manufacturer tends to release flagship devices twice a year.
We saw the LG G Pro launched earlier in the year, which was then followed up by the LG G2. What this means is that later this year, we can look forward to the LG G3 as well, but when exactly? Well according to the latest rumors, it seems that we can look forward to the handset as soon as June 2014. (more…)

HTC is working on an upcoming flagship phone which will be the successor to last year’s HTC One. So far we’ve seen the device leaked in photos and press renderings, showing off the carriers that the handset could arrive on.
Now we expect the official details along with a list of features to be announced on the 25th of March 2014 where HTC will announce the handset in Beijing, China. We guess in a way it was good that HTC decided to skip an announcement at MWC 2014 since it would have been overshadowed by the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S5. (more…)

Called the Iconia One7 (model number TD070VA1), the tablet sports a 7.0-inch 1024 x 600 5-point multi-touch display, a 1.5GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core processor, a 1GB RAM, a 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), dual cameras (0.3MP front & 1.9MP rear), WiFi, a micro-HDMI port, a 3000mAh battery and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. Viber, for those unfamiliar, is an app that allows users to call one another for free and send instant messages as well. The app is available on a variety of platforms except for BlackBerry 10. This was confirmed back in 2013 where Viber stated that they had no plans to support BlackBerry 10 anytime soon.
Well the good news is that it looks like Viber could be having a change of heart. This is thanks to a recent tweet by Viber in which they respond to a customer’s enquiry as to whether Viber would be arriving on BlackBerry. Viber responded by saying, “We are working with BB on a solution that will allow us to bring Viber to BB10. Please follow us for updates coming soon!” (more…)
