The Korean news agency Yonhap News reports that a carbon dioxide leak in a Samsung plant in southern Seoul has killed one of its workers.
We’re sure most of us have at one point or the other experienced bill shock. This could come from your carrier where you might have exceeded your monthly data cap, or made one too many international phone calls. Not to mention the way carriers charge for services, it makes it quite hard to get a handle on some of the rates sometimes.
Well over in Australia it seems that local carrier, Optus, has been formally warned by the Australian Communications and Media Authority for overcharging 237,500 customers a total of A$8.9 million (roughly $8.2 million after conversion) from July 2011 to September 2012. If we were to average it out, that’s about $32.50 per customer that Optus has overcharged. (more…)

We know that companies have been making efforts at improving the sound quality of the speakers coming from our phones, and to be honest they have come a long way from back in the day of monophonic ringtones or polyphonic, to finally being able to use actual MP3s as our ringtones.
Of course that’s well and good but if the speakers suck, we guess what’s the point right? Why even bother in the first place? Thankfully things have changed with efforts from companies like HTC and Sony, with HTC opting for the front-facing stereo BoomSound speakers, while Sony has opted for the S-Force Front Surround system in the Xperia Z2. So it seems that Nokia has several devices up their sleeves that have yet to be announced. According to @evleaks, it seems that there is a certain Nokia device codenamed “Monarch” that will be making its way onto T-Mobile.
