Apple Staffer Shamed By Judge For Using iPhone In Court

Apple and Samsung are at it once again. The second patent infringement trial has commenced, with Apple claiming north of $2 billion in damages. Electronic devices are routinely banned in courtrooms across the U.S., but Judge Lucy Koh and the Northern District of California are more open to them than most. The court allows live coverage and even offers a free Wi-Fi network to spectators and reporters. Though Judge Koh was irked by an Apple staffer sitting in the front row, continuing to use her iPhone when everyone in the courtroom had been told to switch off their cellphones.

    2012 Droid Family To Get Android 4.4 KitKat In The Near Future

    Whenever Google releases major Android firmware updates, OEMs rush to get them ready for their most recent devices. Android 4.4 KitKat was released late last year. The first few devices to receive said update were 2013 flagships. Once they get out of the way, the OEMs turn their attention towards other compatible devices. Motorola Droid Razr HD, Razr Maxx HD and Razr M were all released back in 2012. They’re weren’t exactly at the top of the list. Though Motorola has now confirmed that Android 4.4 KitKat for the 2012 Droid family will be released in the next few weeks.
