World Of Warcraft’s Choppers Are About To Be Made A Reality

One of the cooler features of World of Warcraft that they added many years ago was the ability for engineers to craft motorbikes in the game. This kind of went against the fantasy image and the concept of magical mounts, like flying carpets, dragons, gryphons, and so on, but it was still pretty cool nonetheless.

Well now it looks like those bikes that engineers have crafted in game will now be made in real life. This process will actually be documented in a series of episodes called Azeroth Choppers. Basically what happens is that custom motorcycle designer, Paul Jr., will lead two teams in designing the coolest motorbike possible that is able to represent both factions in the game appropriately.

This means that two bikes will be built, one for the Alliance which will be led by none other than Blizzard’s senior vice president, Chris Metzen (who has also provided voice-overs for the game), and art director Samwise Didier who will be leading the Horde team. The first episde is expected to go live on the 17th of April.

We’re not sure what Blizzard plans on doing with the motorbikes once they have been completed, but the winning chopper will be immortalized in the game as an actual mount, with the public allowed to vote on which chopper should win, but either way for World of Warcraft fans, this is definitely something worth looking forward to. In the meantime you can check out the intro trailer in the video above.

Titanfall For Xbox 360 Will Not Be Coming To Games On Demand

Titanfall For Xbox 360 Will Not Be Coming To Games On DemandIf you’re the owner of an Xbox 360, you might have heard that Titanfall has launched as a boxed version for your console this week. Now we’re sure some gamers are wondering why isn’t the game available for download? After all Titanfall for the Xbox One is available as a digital download, so why not the Xbox 360 version?

Well it turns out that maybe putting the game on Games on Demand might not be the best way to experience the game, at least according to EA’s Help Page which confirmed that the game for the Xbox 360 platform will not be available on Games on Demand.

According to EA, “After extensive testing, we felt that it simply did not represent the true Titanfall experience and it was decided not to release a Games on Demand version. As we never officially announced that Titanfall would be available via Games on Demand and the option to purchase it that way should have never been offered. We hope players understand this decision was all about quality and making sure you get the best Titanfall experience.”

Perhaps it could be an issue with the amount of space that the game would take up if downloaded. As it stands the Xbox One version of the game comes in at a whopping 20GB, so it could be about space constraints, although the installation from the disc does require 1GB. In any case we’re only speculating at this point in time but if you wanted to play the game on the Xbox 360, you’ll have to head to your nearby games shop to get your hands on it.

Hitman GO Arriving On iOS 17th April

Hitman GO Arriving On iOS 17th AprilThe Hitman franchise has largely relied on stealth in order for players to complete their missions, although we guess this largely depends on the type of player and whether they’d rather creep their way around, or burst into rooms gun blazing. That being said, Hitman could be getting a less fast-paced version of the game in the Hitman GO title which is scheduled for release on mobile devices.

According to Square Enix Montreal, they have announced that Hitman GO will be seeing a release on the 17th of April where it will launch on iOS devices followed by Android devices at a later date. The game will also be shown off at PAX East this week so there is a good chance we could be hearing about the game in the next few days as well.

The game will be a turn-based version of Hitman and will feature a rather interesting look in the form of a diorama-styled set pieces on a grid. It will sort of play like the Hitman game, except in turn-based style, and will also offer players access to the usual suspects, like disguises, distractions, sniper rifles, and the likes.

The game will also be priced at $4.99 and will offer access to 68 levels, all of which can be unlocked by playing through the entire game. The studio has also announced that there will be additional levels added in the future, so that’s something worth looking forward to. No word on whether the game will have in-app purchases (we’re hoping not) so we guess we’ll just have to wait until the 17th of April to find out. In the meantime who else is looking forward to this new style of Hitman on their phone/tablets?

Leaked HTC One M8 Training Doc Compares It To The Galaxy S5

Leaked HTC One M8 Training Doc Compares It To The Galaxy S5The HTC One M8 was released not too long ago and given the flagship nature of the handset, it basically puts itself in competition with a slew of Android phones like the LG G Pro 2, Sony Xperia Z2, and how we not forget, the Samsung Galaxy S5. So out of these flagship smartphones from other OEMs, which does HTC find to be the biggest threat?

We guess it’s no surprise that it’s the Samsung Galaxy S5, although HTC basically confirmed this thanks to a leaked training document that the folks at HTC Source managed to get their hands on. According to the leaked document, it basically instructs sales reps to promote the HTC One M8’s features and explain to customers why and how the phone is better than the Galaxy S5.

HTC has listed 5 points that reps can use, starting with how the phone is made from metal, and not plastic. They also mention BoomSound which is the front-facing stereo speakers on the phone (in which Sprint’s model is apparently made by Harman/Kardon). They also mention how the HTC One M8 is apparently better for one-handed use, and they also talk about the Duo camera feature, and last but not least is the HTC Advantage which is basically HTC’s offer of a free screen replacement in the first 6 months should anything happen to it.

All of HTC’s points are valid claims although we guess it really does come down to personal preference. While we had no qualms about the Duo camera feature during our review, there are others out there who have expressed their wish for something a bit more conventional. The front-facing stereo speakers are also nice to have but not necessarily a must-have feature either.

Will HTC’s tactics work against Samsung? Or will loyalty and reputation of Samsung’s brand be more than enough to work in their favor? We guess we will have to wait and see, but in the meantime which phone are you guys leaning more towards to, at least between the two?
