Cat Grooming BagEven cats that groom themselves can only do it to a point. They can’t
clean their ears, for example, or remove their shedding fur very easily.
They can’t give themselves medications or put bandages around their
scrapes and, funny, for some reason, they don’t like it very much when
we try to administer to them. So, lucky for us, the folks at Downtown Pet Supply came up with this Cat Grooming Bag aka Cat Restraint Bag.

Mario Kart 8 Will Run At 30fps With 3-4 Players

When it comes to gaming, the higher the FPS the smoother the game tends to be. Of course some gamers don’t mind it when their games run at low FPS rates, while there are those who want at least an FPS of at least 60 before they even consider it.

Of course the type of game matters as well. In a slower-placed game, lower FPS isn’t as important compared to twitch gaming like FPS or RTS where a lot of movements and reactions are needed. That being said, it seems that the upcoming Mario Kart 8 has been reported to run at 30dfps when playing in split screen mode. (more…)

Half Life 2 Reimagined With Unreal Engine Looks GorgeousValve’s Half-Life 2 was released nearly 10 years ago and for a game released around that time, it looked pretty damn good. However fast forward 10 years, even die-hard Half-Life fans have to admit that the graphics are still to look a little dated, which is why a user called Logithx over at the Polycount website has decided to do something about it.

We should note that the screenshots pictured above and below are not representative of an upcoming game or mod for Half-Life 2. It’s essentially an “art project” which consists of some scenes from Half-Life 2 remade using the Unreal Engine. (more…)

Amazon Keeping Mum On Fire TV Release Outside Of The US

Amazon Keeping Mum On Fire TV Release Outside Of The USIt was just recently that Amazon unveiled the Fire TV. This is essentially Amazon’s take on the set top box and is a device that has long been rumored to be in the works (we’re still waiting for Amazon’s smartphone!). It has taken the Kindle and its ebooks a while to see a release around the world namely due to copyright restrictions and whatnot, and we can only imagine the same applies to the Fire TV and its video content.

Speaking to the folks at CVG, it seems that Amazon is keeping relatively mum on the possibility as to whether or not the Fire TV will be seeing a release outside of the US. According to an Amazon representative, they were quoted as saying, “Fire TV is not available outside the US at this time and we’re not able to speculate on future plans.” (more…)

A Step by Step Walkthrough of the World's First Great Infographic

Data visualization is an amazing way to get a point across. That is, when you’re making infographics that aren’t just dumb . And this explanation by the folks at Numberphile really helps bring it home.
