This Twisting Mirror Bridge Reflects Every Detail of a Shanghai Street

UNStudio has created a beautifully constructed archway that brightens up the retail sphere of Xintiandi Mall in China. Because it’s lined with mirrors, you can track your movements from beginning to end and watch your surroundings skip playfully across the different planes of the mall’s entrance. It’s like walking down the inside of a wormhole—except you stay safely grounded in both time and space.

First Generation Apple TV Facing Issues When Connecting To iTunes

first-generation-apple-tv

It looks like the first generation Apple TV units are unable to connect to iTunes. Users from around the world seem to be facing this issue. This was first reported on April 17th when a thread was started on Apple’s official support forums. By now that thread has become quite lengthy with repeated complaints by first-gen Apple TV users who are unable to make their set-top boxes connect to iTunes. The first generation Apple TV was released back in 2007 and the company sold it until 2010, so there are quite a few of them out there.

One poster described that this simply happened out of nowhere. He had full access to iTunes Store the night before, but in the morning it started displaying an “iTunes Store Not Available” message. Access completely disappeared, except for movie trailers, after he unplugged the Apple TV.

In the thread, users say that they have gone through a variety of processes to try and get iTunes back. Rebooting and even restoring the software doesn’t help, the first generation Apple TV is simply unable to connect to the iTunes Store.

Apple hasn’t commented on this as yet, so it is unclear if the company has already started working on a fix or not. We’ll keep our eyes peeled and will let you know as soon as we hear more.

Moto E Specifications Leaked

moto-e

Recently we picked up on a rumor about Motorola launching a new smartphone this May. Apparently this device will arrive in three different models and will primarily be destined for emerging markets. Latest reports suggest that this smartphone might be called Moto E, and much like the existing Moto G, it may be slim, compact and competitively priced. It is actually expected to be thinner than the Moto G.

Though it might not differ that much from the existing mid-range smartphone as far as specifications are concerned. Rumor has it that Moto E is going to have a 720p 4.3-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage with possibility of external expansion, a 1,900mAh battery as well as a 5 megapixel rear camera. Android 4.4 KitKat might come preinstalled, along with support for 2G/3G and digital TV.

Leaked specifications put the dimensions at 124.8 x 64.8 x 6.2 mm, it would be significantly thinner than Moto G, which comes in a 11.6 mm. The rumor comes in from Mexico where this smartphone is expected to sell for $230 off contract. It makes sense for Motorola to launch it in Latin America first. The company has already seen success in the market with Moto G’s help, particularly in Brazil and Mexico. No word as yet when Moto E is going to be released, and if it will make its way to the U.S. as well.
