It’s probably for the best that tablets didn’t really enter the mainstream until Apple launched the iPad, at least if the Nokia M510 Web Tablet was anything to go by.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Indefinitely Delayed And Possibly Cancelled For The Xbox One
Posted in: Today's ChiliBad news Spider-Man fans, it seems that if you were looking forward to playing The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on the Xbox One console, you might be disappointed to learn that it seems that the game might have been cancelled for the platform. This is according to a recent sighting by NeoGAF users who spotted the changes on the game’s website.
The game was originally pegged for a release in the US on the 29th of April where it was expected to make its way onto platforms like the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, the PC, the Wii U, and the Nintendo 3DS handheld console. However with the recent sighting, it seems that all the platforms are good to go minus the Xbox One.
In addition, online retailers like Amazon UK and EBGames Australia have also removed the Xbox One version of the game from their listings, but have maintained the date for all other versions. It is unclear as to why Activision might have delayed or possibly even cancelled the game for the Xbox One.
In a statement released by the publisher, “We want to inform you that we are revising our release plans for ASM2 on Xbox One. When and whether ASM2 is released on Xbox One is TBD.” It sounds a little ominous and it almost sounds as though the game might have been put on hold indefinitely. After all if the game needed a little bit more work, they would have just said so, right?

The Lamborghini brand is one that oozes luxury and performance, which is why we can’t say we’re too surprised that the son of the Lamborghini owner, Tonino Lamborghini has recently announced a pair of in-ear headphones whose design not only is reminiscent of the Lamborghini cars (both are owned by different companies), but apparently will deliver a powerful listening experience as well.
Tonino Lamborghini has recently announced a trio of headphones, starting with the high-end Quantum HL-01 headphones. According to its description, the headphones will feature a luxurious and modern design and will also come with a secure fit, which means that it could be used during fitness or sports-related activities without it falling out of your ears. It also comes with a clip that will clip to your shirt and also comes with a bunch of silicone and foam ear tips.
Next up is the mid-ranged Quantum ML-01. This particular model will come with a Thin Film Acoustic Technology that has been patented for detailed sound and tight bass, so if those are attributes you want in a pair of headphones, then maybe the ML-01 is a pair of headphones to keep an eye out for. Last but not least is the Quantum EL-01. These are the lower-end headphone offerings by Tonino Lamborghini. They will sport the same Thin Film Acoustic Technology as the ML-01 and will also pack 10mm drivers.
In terms of pricing, these headphones are thankfully not as expensive as the Lamborghini cars. The HL-01 will be the highest priced at £124 followed by the ML-01 at £82, and the EL-01 at £58. These in-ear headphones are expected to be released in June. If you’d like to learn more about the headphones and check out more photos, be sure to head on over to their website for the details.

Titanfall is currently an exclusive to the Xbox platform as well as for the PC, meaning that if you wanted to play the game on other consoles like Nintendo or Sony’s platform, you’d be out of luck and you’d probably be better off waiting for the sequel which apparently will make its way onto more platforms.
However in the meantime it seems that at one point in time, Sony was actually pushing Respawn Entertainment for a PS Vita version of the game, but safe to say that never materialized, but why?
The story goes like this: Respawn had initially approached Sony before they signed an exclusive deal with Microsoft but since Sony wasn’t willing to divulge the specs of the PlayStation 4 at that time, Respawn did not know what to work with. However Sony did offer up the suggestion for a PS Vita version of the game and even offered to help make it.
It is unclear as to why Respawn turned down Sony’s offer to bring the game onto the PS Vita. Perhaps it was because they felt that the PS Vita was not powerful enough, at least not as powerful as they would have liked in order to maintain the experience of the game. As we can see in the final results, the game is beautiful and even the Xbox 360 proved to be a pretty good port, thanks to the folks at BluePoint Games who did an excellent job of porting it.
It’s also hard to imagine playing a game like Titanfall on a smaller display like the PS Vita, versus a larger screen like a television. While it’s not impossible, since we’ve seen FPS games make its way onto platforms like mobile devices, it probably just would not have been the same, but what do you guys think? Would you like to have seen a PS Vita version of Titalfall?
In the meantime if you’d like to learn more about some of what went on behind the scenes of the development of the game, you’ll want to check out Titanfall’s Final Hours app for the details.

Google’s latest Street View algorithm beats its bot-sniffing security system
Posted in: Today's Chili You know how Google’s been doing such a great job associating addresses with their locations on a map? Apparently, it’s all thanks to the company’s new magical algorithm that can parse (with 90 percent accuracy) even fuzzy numbers in pictures taken…
Strapping yourself to the ground may not seem like a great way to train yourself to jump higher. However, using the resistance tubing in the Pro Power Jumper unit to do so is the ideal way to improve your vertical, and not just your vertical, but your agility, reaction time and explosive power as well.

Most games made and sold are usually done to make a profit, especially if it’s a particularly famous franchise that they’re building off on. After all someone’s got to pay the bills and the developers right? Well it seems that not everyone is that interested in making a profit, and Titanfall’s producer, Drew McCoy, is one of them.
Speaking to the folks at GameSpot, McCoy basically stated that he does not care if the game is making a profit or not. “I don’t know if it’s making a profit, I don’t know if it’s meeting sales expectations. I don’t really care.” He states that this because at the end of the day it was about making a game that he enjoys playing, and that is the important thing.
“I care that I worked on a game that I can sit down and enjoy playing. The fact that people enjoy it and it has made enough that we [get to] continue supporting it as a studio, that’s to me a success. We make games because we love them and we want other people to play them with us.”
Naturally with FPS games on the console, it gets compared to more popular franchise such as Call of Duty and Battlefield, competition which he does not seem to be particularly interested in engaging in. he also hopes that Titanfall is a game that will inspire others to make their own game rather than follow a formula, but then again with the success of franchises such as Call of Duty and Battlefield, who wouldn’t want to rely on the formula, especially if it could mean the same level of success, right?
“There’s been some really colossal failures… there’s been games that looked at what’s popular and go ‘oh, if we have this, people will buy our game.’ And then it just completely fails, because they missed the reason as to why that game was good and they didn’t try anything new.” But what do you guys think? Does Titanfall truly feel like a game that was designed to be played, or designed to rake in a healthy profit?

Nintendo Sued For Alleged Patent Infringement Over Wii U’s Dual Screen Capabilities
Posted in: Today's ChiliOne of the Nintendo Wii U’s unique selling points is the fact that it is essentially like a much bigger 3DS system in the sense that the GamePad on the Wii U can act as a secondary display in which gamers can interact with. For games like ZombieU, this meant that the GamePad can be used to access your inventory while your main screen will display all the action.
Unfortunately it seems that Nintendo did not create this technology or idea themselves, and it seems that they might not have licensed the technology either, at least that’s according to a recent lawsuit in which a company by the name of Secure Axcess is suing Nintendo for allegedly infringing on the patent.
This is not the first time that Nintendo has been sued for patent infringement and while they might have lost some, they have also won some of their cases before. According to the patent that Nintendo allegedly infringed upon, it is described as “a computer providing multiple display capability where one display presents the current document and another display may show a true display of a previously opened document.”
Secure Axcess is also suing retailers such as Wal-Mart, Target, and Amazon who sold the devices, although we’re not sure how successful they will be since those retailers only sold the device as opposed to making it and selling it. The company is current asking for compensatory damages, costs, among other reliefs.
If anything it sounds like Secure Axcess might be just another patent troll looking to reach some kind of settlement agreement based on a vaguely worded patent. Will they be successful? We guess we will just have to wait and see, but either way we’re pretty sure another patent lawsuit is not what Nintendo needs at the moment.
