2K Games released NBA 2K14 in October last year. For Android at the time this title was exclusively released on the Kindle Fire. NBA 2K14 has remained exclusive to Amazon’s tablet for nearly six months. Today the exclusivity period finally ends. Irrational Games and 2K Games’ BioShock Infinite was made available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC earlier this year, but fans of the game have been treated to a number of downloadable content since its release. 2K Games released the game’s first DLC, Clash in the Clouds, this past July, and today, Irrational Games has announced the next DLC, Burial at Sea – Episode 1, will launch on November 12 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The release of WWE 2K14 is coming just next week, which means many wrestling fans are probably curious to see just how well 2K Games will do with the franchise now that THQ is no longer publishing the title. WWE 2K14 will already have a nice mix of both current and older wrestlers to play as, alongside or against, but today, 2K is announcing the game will have a season pass that will allow players to download additional characters, items and moves for one low price.

Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 2 recently received a Game of the Year Edition, which means those of you who have yet to buy the game can do so while also getting all of its previously released downloadable content. Just because Borderlands 2 has a Game of the Year Edition doesn’t mean Gearbox Software is done with the game’s downloadable content as a new Halloween-themed DLC will be available starting on October 22. We think it’s safe to say 2K Games & Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 2 has been deemed a huge success by gamers who appreciate the titles mix of first-person shooter elements along with role-playing game features. Since its release, we’ve seen a number of downloadable content, such as the Krieg the Psycho and Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, but if you purchase the game now, you’re going to be spending a ton of cash on the game and its additional DLC. That’s why 2K and Gearbox Software will be releasing Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition on October 8 in North America and October 11 internationally. (more…)
