Over the past few months we have seen several concepts of what people believe Apple’s next generation iPhone is going to look like. Recently alleged schematics were leaked, offering us a glimpse of the possible design. Today we get to feast out eyes on purported iPhone 6 rear casing pictures. Apparently they have emerged from a Foxconn facility in China. For those of you who don’t know, Foxconn happens to be one of Apple’s biggest manufacturing partners.

    Microsoft Word For iPad Makes Top 10 List For Gross RevenueIt seems that the latest Word for iPad app from Microsoft has managed to make its way into the top 10 list on Apple’s App Store “Top Grossing” chart. It is interesting to note that it did not take too long for this to happen, as the app itself was released on March 27th, and arrived on the no. 6 spot in the U.S. App Store’s chart just yesterday Sunday. As for the rest of the Office for iPad apps, namely Excel and PowerPoint, those managed to hold on to the 11th and 32nd positions, respectively.

    iOS Tweak Brings Facebook Chat Heads Onto The iPhoneSay what you will of Facebook Home but what it has brought to Android devices is a pretty convenient chat feature called Chat Heads. For those who use Facebook, whether it be on iOS or Android, you guys have probably encountered Chat Heads which are basically icons featuring your friend’s photo that lets you chat with them.

    On Android this is pretty convenient as the Chat Heads appear on the home screen, thus letting you chat with friends without having to open the Facebook or Messenger app. Unfortunately for iOS, Chat Heads is limited to the Facebook app, but if you’re running a jailbroken iOS device, perhaps Message Box might be a tweak worth checking out. The popular productivity suite, made up of Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps, has landed on Apple’s tablet absolutely free, but there is a caveat. Office for iPad apps can be used for reading, viewing and presentation only. If users want the full editing and composing power, they need an Office 365 subscription. However, a loophole left open by Microsoft makes it possible to use Office for iPad without Office 365 subscription.

    Office For iPad Tops The iTunes App Store Charts

    Office For iPad Tops The iTunes App Store ChartsCould Office for iPad be the host of productivity suites that everyone has been waiting for, ever since it was rumored many years ago? Well maybe, maybe not, but it definitely has managed to pique a lot of interest because after about 24 hours of the apps being released, it has managed to top the iTunes App Store’s Free charts.

    As you can see in the image above, it’s not just one, but all the apps that have managed to top the charts in first, second, third, and fourth place. Unsurprisingly it seems that Microsoft Word has managed to nab the number one spot, while OneNote comes in fourth. (more…)
