    VLC For Windows Phone 8.1 Revealed In ScreenshotA couple of weeks ago, the team at VLC released the VLC app designed for Microsoft’s Windows 8’s Metro UI. The app has been in development for quite a while now and we’re sure Windows 8 users are probably happy to finally get their hands on the app.

    However back when VLC announced they would be developing the app, they also opened themselves up to the possibility that the app could be developed for Windows Phone as well, although recently they stated that the app would only arrive for Windows Phone 8.1, citing performance issues as one of the reasons.     Apple Offers Refunds For Unauthorized In App Purchases

    Did your child rack up charges on your credit card by making in-app purchases without your consent and authorization? Good news, you can claim a refund from Apple. The move is a part of a consent decree that the company struck with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. Apple was fined $32.5 million for its in-app purchase billing practices, the money will be used for refunds. Those wishing to claim a refund for IAPs “made by a minor” have until April 15th 2014 to submit their request.
