ASUS Launches Haswell Powered Transformer Book T300

ASUS has announced a number of products today, the Haswell powered Transformer Book T300 is one of them. It is a 13.3 inch laptop that has a detachable full HD display. This means that the T3o0 can be used as a standalone Windows 8 tablet as well. The Transformer Book T300 has a sleek metallic design with a soft-touch finish. IPS display technology allows for a wide 178-degree viewing angles with improved daylight visibility. It is just 11.5mm thin and has a built-in USB 3.0 and a micro-HDMI port. There’s also a LED battery charge indicator. The keyboard is slim as well, just 11mm, and has a magnetic dock connector. Dock has a full-size keyboard with backlit keys and a large multi-touch touchpad support for Windows 8 gestures.

Connectivity options include 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 (optional), USB 3.0 and micro-HDMI port, microSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone/mic Dock and a micro-USB 3.0 port on the dock. There’s a 1080p rear camera and a 720p front camera for video chat. ASUS says that the Transformer Book T300 offers eight hours of battery life. It will be available with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. ASUS says that it will reveal the availability and pricing information soon.

    ASUS Launches The 10.1 Inch X102BA Ultraportable Notebook

    It was rumored last month that ASUS would add another notebook to its VivoBook lineup. This notebook was claimed to be called the X102BA, a 10.1 inch ultraportable device powered by Windows 8. The promotional image of this notebook also leaked back then. That rumor and leaked image has turned out to be spot on. ASUS today announced the 10.1 inch X102BA notebook, but it hasn’t slapped the VivoBook label on it.

    The X102BA has a 1,366×768 pixel resolution display with 10-point multi-touch. It is powered by an AMD A4-1200 1GHz APU with Radeon HD 8180 graphics. It comes with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 pre-installed. There’s a front facing 720p HD camera for video chats. The X102BA will be available with 2GB/4GB DDR3 RAM and 320GB/500GB hard drive. Connectivity options include 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a SD card slot. Stereo speakers with ASUS SonicMaster audio technology are also on-board. The notebook has a 33Wh battery which provides up to five hours of battery life. ASUS X102BA will be available in white, black, hot pink and ocean blue colors. No word as yet on when this notebook will be released and how much it will cost. ASUS has said that it will provide that information later.

    ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T Quadcore Tablet Unveiled

    Among the various products it has announced today, ASUS also unveiled the new Transformer PAD TF701T quadcore tablet. The company had actually teased this new tablet last week, today it has finally unveiled it. Running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the new Transformer Pad is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 4 T40X quadcore processor with 2GB of DDR3L RAM. It has a 10.1 inch WQXGA display that offers 2,560×1,600 pixel resolution. This tablet joins the ASUS Transformer family because it comes with a mobile dock, with which it can effectively be used as an Android laptop.

    The dock contains a QWERTY keyboard and a secondary battery which can push battery life up to 17 hours when the tablet is docked. It also contains a USB 3.0 port. There’s a 5 megapixel rear camera, a 1.2 megapixel front facing camera and Miracast streaming support. The tablet has a microSD card slot whereas the dock has a SD card slot for easy external memory expansion. Transformer Pad is available in 32GB and 64GB models. Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope and a speaker with ASUS SonicMaster technology are also on-board. The tablet is just 8.9mm thick and weighs in at 585g. ASUS hasn’t reveal pricing and availability information for North America as yet.

    ASUS Transformer Book Trio Is A Laptop, Desktop And A Tablet

    ASUS has announced a number of new products today, one of them is the Transformer Book Trio. This particular product is actually a laptop, desktop and a tablet rolled into one. It can either be used separately as a tablet or it can be connected to a PC Station to use as a laptop. The PC station can be connected to another external display through a Mini DisplayPort or micro-HDMI to use the Transformer Book Trio as a desktop. It has a 11.6 inch full HD IPS display. In tablet mode, it is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2760 processor aided by 2GB of RAM. It is available in 16/32/64GB storage options. There’s a 5 megapixel rear camera capable of 1080p video recording, a 720p front camera is also present. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean powers the tablet.

    Two new affordable Android tablets have been announced today by ASUS. The MeMo Pad 8 and the MeMo Pad 10. The product names aptly describe their display sizes, the MeMo Pad 8 has an eight inch display while the other one has a 10 inch display. Both IPS displays offer 1,280×800 pixel resolution, quadcore processors and external memory expansion via microSD cards. Both tablets also have high-quality dual speakers with ASUS SonicMaster audio technology.

    ASUS today announced two new ultrabooks, the Zenbook UX301 and UX302.
