We’re sure many of you guys have heard of the band Red Hot Chili Peppers before. Well the band’s former guitarist and something of a legend, John Frusciante, has recently launched his latest album titled Enclosure, but he has not gone about his album launch the same way as everyone else has.

Instead Frusciante has chosen to launch his album into space! Yup, you heard that right, Enclosure has been sent into space thanks to it being loaded onto a satellite that will be orbiting the globe. If you’re feeling the blues because of the gloomy weather, then perhaps the right kind of music might help you get back in your groove, or at least this is what Songza intends to do. Songza, being an online music streaming service, is “smart” enough to know what the current weather is like after partnering with The Weather Company, allowing it to suggest music that is based on the weather at the moment, including rain, snow, sunny, or windy.

There has been much debate over a Spotify IPO. The company has long been rumored to be willing to follow rival Pandora, which is already listed as a public company. Spotify hasn’t made an official comments about a possible IPO though it may be talking with banks who may subsequently become underwriters should it go ahead with the plan. Quartz reports, citing people with knowledge of the plans, that Spotify is currently discussing a possible IPO through informal talks with major banks. Formal talks to get them onboard as underwrites might begin next month.
