Blizzard had already announced that Warlords of Draenor would be World of Warcraft’s next expansion, and earlier this year, we also discovered that there will be pre-order bonuses thrown into the mix as well. After some time, it is nice to note that World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor has already entered the alpha testing phase.

Diablo 3: Reaper Of Souls Shifts 2.7 Million Copies So Far, Digital And Physical Versions Combined
Posted in: Today's ChiliTo say that Blizzard is a successful games publishing company would be an understatement. An extremely toned down understatement, I might add. The company is well known for its fair number of meticulously crafted hits, and most of the time, these hit titles will continue from where it left off previously. Take the hack-and-slash dungeon crawler RPG for instance – Diablo has been keeping players on their toes against the forces of evil, first in Tristram all those years ago, until now with Diablo 3. In fact, Blizzard claims that Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls has sold more than 2.7 million digital as well as physical copies online and at retail stores to date.

Every year Blizzard comes up with an April Fools’ prank that sometimes just feels pretty believable, although in this case we guess it’s pretty obvious that it is just a joke. Dubbed Blizzard Outcasts: Vengeance of the Vanquished, Blizzard has created a hilarious arcade style fighting game featuring, well, the outcasts from their franchises.
In some cases the outcasts are merely the bad guys from Blizzard’s various games, and in some cases they’re just simply NPCs who have had an impact on gamers but not necessarily in a positive way. (more…)

As you might have heard, Blizzard has recently released the latest Diablo 3 expansion, Reaper of Souls. We also expect that gamers have probably raced all the way to the end, killed the boss, and hit level 70, so apart from farming and getting good loot, what else is in store for gamers who love the Diablo franchise?
Well according to the game’s lead producer, Alex Mayberry, it seems that Blizzard is still a little uncertain about the future of the game. Speaking to Videogamer, Mayberry revealed that Blizzard is still evaluating whether or not they will be making a new expansion for the game or release an entirely new Diablo game istead. (more…)
Blizzard Evaluating Diablo 3′s Future After Reaper Of Souls Release original content from Ubergizmo.
When Diablo 3 was first released, many gamers complained about it. There were many factors that led to gamers’ dissatisfaction, such as the poor item drops which not only were hard to come by (in terms of higher level legendary items), but when they did drop, their stats sometimes were irrelevant to the character, like an Intelligence drop for a Barbarian class.
There was also the issue of the Auction House which led to gamers purchasing gold to build up their characters as opposed to farming for loot, which was kind of the point in the first place. Blizzard has since taken steps to fix those issues and with Reaper of Souls, perhaps the game will be able to live up to expectations. (more…)

Blizzard, one of the more successful game studios around, still has faith in the StarCraft Ghost concept, calling it “perfectly viable”. At this point in time, I guess you can more or less lump StarCraft Ghost under the same category that Duke Nukem Forever was, where the latter was indefinitely postponed for seemingly forever. StarCraft Ghost has been rumored to be a third-person spin-off, and according to Blizzard producer Alex Mayberry, it might return some day down the road, where it happens to be a title that Blizzard would “like to do”.

Good news Xbox One gamers, if you were wondering if Diablo 3 would be developed for the console, you might be pleased to learn that it will be. This was semi-confirmed by Diablo 3 lead producer Alex Mayberry to the folks at VideoGamer who revealed that the game for console is being developed alongside the PlayStation 4 version as well.
According to Mayberry, “I don’t know where we are with Microsoft right now so I can’t really comment on what that contract looks like.” However he did acknowledge that the game for the Xbox One platform is in development, “The point is we are developing for Xbox [One] and PS4 simultaneously. We hit those major platforms and then our goal as a development team is to make them run.” (more…)
