Capcom Reveals New Monster Hunter 4G Trailer

When you have a game that is called Monster Hunter, then you would definitely anticipate there to be plenty of blood shed as you start to drop monsters one by one, as though they were like flies, and you are the efficient fly swatter. Well, we are glad to say that Capcom’s latest Monster Hunter 4G trailer sheds off all pretense, where this trailer depicts plenty of monster killing that will hopefully satiate your appetite to purchase the game when it finally arrives.

Do bear in mind that this particular trailer is technically meant for the Japanese release, and the entire gamut of footage consists of loud music and roaring, and I suppose Godzilla’s roar does not need to be in Japanese or English – it should be able to transcend all language barriers.

In the latest trailer, it depicts a desert environment that comes complete with plenty of sand and an oasis that pops up once in a while. Other than ancient ruins and caves that bake in the oppressive desert heat, you will have to be on the lookout for monsters who are licking their chops, hoping to get a piece of you. Monster Hunter 4G is actually a remastered version of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate that rolled out in fall last year for the Nintendo 3DS.

New Ultra Street Fighter IV English Trailer Denotes 44 Challengers

They say that variety is indeed the spice of life, but do you sometimes find yourself paralyzed, being unable to make a decision of your own simply because there are way too many choices out there for you to pick from? Take the TV for instance – have you ever watched a few shows simultaneously because you keep on flipping back and forth whenever the ads start to make an appearance? Well, with Ultra Street Fighter IV, you know that you will be spoiled for choice with a total of 44 challengers being made available for you to duke it out against one another.

In the latest English trailer, you will be able to check out some of the sleek moves delivered by Elena, Rolento, Poison, Hugo, and Decabre, opening up a whole new world of pain to your opponent. Apart from that, there is also half a dozen arenas located across the world, waiting for players to start some bone crunching and back bustin’ moves.

Elena would go after her enemies with choreographed skills and talent, while Rolento the soldier is adept with his baton and collection of explosives. Mistress Poison uses her whip to great effect, while Hugo, the giant wrestler ought to give Zangief run for his money. Decabre relies on speed and stealth to strike fellow fighters. There is no exact release date for Ultimate Street Fighter IV just yet, but Ultimate Street Fighter IV is set to hit the Xbox 360 and PS3 from June onward, while PC gamers will have to wait until August.

Capcom’s DLCs Account For 15-16% Of Their Sales

Capcoms DLCs Account For 15 16% Of Their Sales

Back in the day, computer games were relatively straightforward, which we guess is partly thanks to the fact that most of them were offline games. Additional content would be released as an expansion set, but now thanks to the internet being more widely available, a lot more stable, and a lot more faster, DLCs is a good way for developers to create new content on an more frequent basis and offer them up to gamers in smaller and sometimes more affordable chunks. Well it turns out that DLCs is something of a moneymaker, especially for the folks at Capcom who have recently announced their quarterly earnings.

According to the company, they have revealed that DLCs account for about 15-16% of sales in the consumer games business, and the company believes that the number will rise in the future as well. In other news Capcom has also revealed that digital downloads of games have more than doubled over the last one year, which is a great sign for the company. It’s interesting that DLCs are starting to make more money, although we have a feeling that paying for DLCs could end up being more pricey than the cost of a single expansion set. However the upside is that due to DLCs being smaller, they can be released on a more frequent basis to satisfy gamers, but what do you guys think? Are you an advocate of DLCs or would you prefer expansion sets like in the good old days?

Money Matches Arrives For Super Street Fighter 4

Money Matches Arrives For Super Street Fighter 4Do you think you have what it takes to play Street Fighter and make some money from it? No, we’re not talking about professional matches where winners have the potential to walk away with thousands, sometimes even tens of thousands of dollars. Well the good news is that you can now try your hand at playing Street Fighter 4 online and potentially make some money from your wins! This is thanks to a recent partnership between Capcom and Virgin Gaming where both companies have announced their plans to make online money matches a reality.

As it stands, this will only apply to the console version of Super Street Fighter 4 and Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition. PC gamers need not apply, unfortunately. So how it works is that gamers will challenge other games on Virgin Gaming’s website, agree upon the game’s settings, and then begin the match. Upon the end of the match, gamers will have to head on back to Virgin Gaming’s website to verify the results, attach an image, and upon successful verification, gamers will then have their winning deposited into their cashier to use again or to withdraw. In a way it does sound like gaming, but apparently as this is a game of skill, rather than luck, it would seem as though this could be a potential legal loophole. So, any gamers plan to put their money where their mouth is?
