[CES 2014] Smartphone and tablets have changed the way we carry content. People no longer need to carry around discs full of content, they can simply load up their mobile devices. However, these devices offer a limited amount of storage which often isn’t enough. In that case, portable wireless HDDs come in handy. The new Buffalo MiniStation Air is a bonafide wireless HDD, but it does much more than allowing up to eight devices to access 1TB of storage and stream content to any computer, smart TV or mobile device.

[CES 2014] Buffalo came to the International Consumer Electronics Show with a variety of networking and storage products, its got one more up its sleeve. Apart from announcing a portable wireless HDD and network attached storage devices, Buffalo has also unveiled its new wireless networking devices that bring affordable support for the latest 802.11ac wireless standard. The AirStation AC 1200 Dual Band wireless router WHR-116D is one of those devices. The increased bandwidth offered by the router allows for faster access to online media content, much needed nowadays due to the influx of multiple Wi-Fi enabled devices in every household with demand for faster streaming of HD content to multiple devices on the rise. 
[CES 2014] LandingZone knows that there is money to be made when it comes to accessories for hugely successful devices and computers, and you cannot get any more successful than with an Apple product, at least when we are talking about Apple products from the iPod onwards, as the years before that were actually rather lean. Having said that, LandingZone’s latest Docking Station is worth checking out if you happen to own a MacBook Pro with Retina Display. [CES 2014] The folks over at IOGear has just announced the brand new long range wireless 5×2 HD Matrix Pro, where it is also known by its model number GWHDMS52MB which is virtually unpronounceable. It will retail for $699 each, but before you balk at that kind of price point, you might want to check out what the HD Matrix Pro is able to deliver right out of the box. For starters, it will be able to send out fully uncompressed HD 1080p content up to a range of 200 feet even through standard home walls, and from up to five sources – it does not matter whether they are digital or analog in this matter.
