[CES 2014] Thanks to the introduction of Windows 8, along with its user interface which looked like it was designed for touchscreens in mind, we have been seeing a lot of hybrid devices as of late, combining features of a tablet and a notebook into a single device, allowing the user to swap between functions as needed. It might not have the grace and light-weightedness of a real tablet, but we suppose it’s a trade-off and if you’re in the market for such a device, ASUS has announced the Transformer Book Duet TD300, a device which ASUS is calling the world’s first quad-mode dual-operating system laptop and convertible.
