ColorWare Launches Lineup Of Customized Xbox One Consoles

ColorWare Launches Lineup Of Customized Xbox One ConsolesThe Xbox One was launched in a black finish, although lucky Microsoft employees managed to get their hands on a white version, and let’s not forget the gold plated Xbox One that has been making its rounds as well. Well if you’re looking to get an Xbox One but in a different color that isn’t black, you might be interested to learn that ColorWare has announced that they have launched their line of Xbox One units which will be painted in a variety of different colors that will not be of the black variety. For those who do not own the Xbox One, ColorWare is selling their customized version of the console for $749 including the Kinect. Granted this is more than what retailers have priced the Xbox One for, but we guess that’s the price you have to pay if you to be a little different.

Alternatively Xbox One console owners can send in their own unit for ColorWare to customize which will cost them $249, but unfortunately this customization does not cover the controller, meaning that your controllers might be a little mismatched compared to the console. ColorWare is not new to the customization scene, in fact we have seen them offer different customizations for smartphones like the iPhone, or computers, like the Alienware M15X, and even headphones! If you’d like to learn more, hit up ColorWare’s website for the details.

    ColorWare Now Pimps Roombas

The Roomba cleans your house, but who will keep the Roomba fresh and clean? ColorWare will. The company known for customizing computers, consoles and media players now customizes iRobot’s popular Roomba 780 robotic vacuum cleaner. They’ll even make it look like dirt if you want.

As always, ColorWare offers a variety of metallic and solid colors to paint the Roomba 780. You can specify different colors for seven of the cleaning robot’s parts. However for some reason, ColorWare won’t touch the robot’s butt; that part will always be black. So don’t make fun of my Oreo-themed Roomba. I did the best I could.

The only thing more fun than customizing the Roomba 780′s colors is hearing about its price. If you already have a Roomba 780, ColorWare will give it a paint job for $249 (USD). Don’t have the robot? ColorWare will gladly hand you a custom painted Roomba 780 for $899.

Colorware Will Make Your iPhone 5 Uglier for a Mere $1700

Every time a hot new gadget comes out, Colorware vomits its candy-colored paint all over it and charges a huge markup because of it. They must be making a lot of money per paintjob, because even though I see lots of gadgets on the streets, I never see any Colorware products, yet they still produce them. The latest victim? Apple’s “jewel” of a smartphone, which now comes in hundreds of customizable colors for the low, low price of $1700 for the 64GB model. Not only is there no option to order a iPhone with a smaller amount of storage, but you can’t send your old phone in. It’s not all bad though, Colorware’s iPhone customizing webapp offers a glimpse into an alternate universe where iPhones can come in all kinds of crazy colors, kind of like the iPod Touch. If you’ve got one that you think is really sweet, share it with us in the comments.
