mac-pro-apple

Apple teased the new Mac Pro early on in 2013 and then kept us waiting for it until the end of December. The completely revamped late 2013 Mac Pro started shipping to anxious customers in the very last days of December, but at least Apple met its timeframe of getting the computer out before the end of the year. It seems that either this new Mac Pro is heavily in demand or perhaps Apple is having difficulties in producing enough units to fill the gap between supply and demand. After shipping times on the online store slipped to March outside the U.S., the same has happened on the U.S. online Apple store as well.

Snapchat, the service that lets people send self-destructing photos and videos, has become very popular over the past year and a half. Sure it has seen its fair share of ups and downs, such as the security breach that compromised phone numbers and usernames of more than 4.6 million users, but it has reportedly peaked the interest for two behemoths. Google and Facebook were both reportedly trying to acquire the company, offering as much as $4 billion, both of them were said to have been turned down. As Snapchat continues to grow, it hasn’t said if it has any plans of bringing the service over to desktop computers. If you’ve been wondering about the possibility of being able to use Snapchat on a Mac, then you’re in luck. China’s Firewall Experiences Glitch

China’s Firewall Experiences GlitchThey say that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and when it comes to China’s so called “Great Firewall”, it seems that there was a failure recently, and the door was opened to millions to surf as freely as they wanted to. The cause for this monumental failure (I do wonder whether any party heads are going to roll or not after this) has not yet been determined, although it is widely believed that human error happened to be the cause of this particular glitch.
