Dropbox is set to receive a slew of new features, the popular cloud storage service announced at a press conference in San Francisco today. Here’s what’s in store for users.
You might have seen over the weekend that Dropbox is capable of telling whether you’re sharing copyrighted files over its cloud service—without even actually looking at your stuff. But in fact, it’s been able to do that for years.
Some view the reading of books are a private thing. After all not everyone enjoys a particular author’s work or a particular genre, not to mention reading is typically a quiet affair and creating a social settings could be distracting, unless you’re all gathered to discuss the book, of course.
However Readmill was looking to change that by introducing a social reading platform. For those unfamiliar, the service was launched about 3 years later and it basically allowed users to add notes in a book you shared to inform users of a special passage, a funny quote, or something to keep an eye out on because it might integral to the plot. Dropbox has a press event scheduled for April 9th, its expected to make a number of announcements, word about one of them seems to have slipped through. Apparently the cloud storage company has already started notifying its Dropbox for Business users that it is going to let them switch between business and personal accounts on all devices from next month. Currently users have to log in and out of each account, which is a bit of a hassle.

Dropbox is a cloud-based storage service that we’re sure many of you guys have heard of and probably use. It allows users to store their data in the cloud and thanks to apps available on mobile devices and the computer, it lets users sync and retrieve their documents regardless of what platform they are using.
