Facebook To Crack Down On Illegal Gun Sales Facebook might be the “platform” where some of the zanier things have happened in the past, such as a man losing $80,000 because of a Facebook update by his daughter, and the social network could also be a platform where illegal gun sales are planned. Having said that, the social network giant intends to crack down on such planned illegal gun sales in a move that will hopefully prevent criminal activity while setting a precedent that other social media sites ought to follow. Basically, Facebook will delete posts whenever there are users who seem to be headed down the slippery path of breaking the law, and this would include selling a gun without running a background check or to transport it across U.S. state lines.
