ASUS PadFone X Spotted At The FCC

Earlier this year, the ASUS PadFone X was announced where it was also revealed that the device would be making its way onto AT&T’s network. Heck, AT&T had also recently teased the device’s arrival, but unfortunately until today we still have not gotten a solid release date yet, but could it be soon?
Well according to recent reports, it seems that the ASUS PadFone X was spotted at the FCC recently which seems to suggest that the device could be close to being released. After all FCC approval is one of the steps that manufacturers usually have to go through before their products are allowed to be sold commercially, so perhaps we will be able to look forward to an announcement soon. Working at the FCC must prove to be plenty of fun. After all, you do get to check out all of the latest devices before they are even released to the masses. Well, going through what the FCC has to offer recently, it seems that the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is well on its way to the market after receiving the all important nod of approval by the FCC. Apparently, the model number for the US-bound Xperia Z2 Tablet is known as the SGP521.

One of the advantages to Android 4.4 KitKat is that it was designed for low-end devices in mind, especially with devices running with 512MB of RAM. Technically this means that Android 4.4 KitKat should play nicely with pretty much most Android devices out there that have at least 512MB of RAM.
That being said, if you’re looking for the KitKat experience on a phone that won’t be breaking the bank, look no further because according to a recent FCC sighting, a certain Samsung SM-G310 has received its certification. (more…)

AT&T certainly made ripples in the industry last summer when they announced that they were going to acquire Leap Wireless for $1.19 billion. Just in case you were wondering, Leap Wireless happens to also own Cricket Wireless, who is a prepaid carrier. This particular move was taken by AT&T in order to help it expand the capacity as well as performance of its LTE network. Leap’s shareholders naturally gave the deal the go ahead a few months after that, but since then, everything on the ground has remained pretty much silent. Until now, that is.

The All New HTC One, also known by its codename as the HTC M8 by some, has certainly gone through its fair share of leaks and rumors in recent times, so much so that an unofficial albeit extensive review on YouTube has been shown, while HTC’s very own Jeff Gordon is far from happy with all of the leaks surrounding the All New HTC One. Well, one thing is for sure – the All New HTC One is on its way to hitting the U.S. market especially when one takes into consideration that this particular flagship smartphone has just received its collective nod of approval from the hard-to-please FCC.
