Vertu Ti Ferrari Limited Edition Gains Design Inspiration From F12 Berlinetta

Vertu Ti Ferrari Limited Edition Gains Design Inspiration From F12 BerlinettaWhen it comes to luxury handsets, the name Vertu would definitely resonate across the board, there is no two ways about it. The thing is, we have seen Vertu roll out handsets in the past that were commercial tie-ins with the prancing horse, and this particular symbiotic partnership does not seem to have reached the end just yet as we have the recently announced Vertu Ti Ferrari Limited Edition that is said to have been inspired by the design of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. Of course, since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, we too, have caught a couple of clones in the past ourselves.

Back to the Vertu Ti Ferrari Limited Edition – this new handset will merge the iconic DNA of Vertu alongside the timeless styling of Ferrari’s fastest road-going car to date, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. Simple called the Vertu Ti Ferrari Limited Edition, this particular smartphone will be covered in luxurious Ferrari leather, boasting red-stitching around the shell that is pretty much what you will find on the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta’s seats. At the back of this luxury handset lies the famous prancing horse insignia, not to mention a strong resemblance to the F12 tail lights that look simply mean and aggressive.

Ferrari FF: A Supercar That Seats Four and Has a Large Trunk

Ferraris aren’t known for seating passengers comfortably or for having storage space, but this model has all of that and more. It has seating for four, has ample trunk space, and still comes with a roaring V12 engine.

The Ferrari  fuses a shooting brake design with the supercar ethos. It has a rear-mounted 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The 6.3 liter V12 develops 651 HP and 504 lb.ft. of torque. It accelerates to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds, and can reach 124 mph in 11 seconds. Its top speed is a whopping 208 mph. It can tackle snow and more extreme weather conditions thanks to the fact that it’s a four-wheel-drive too.

Ferrari chairman: we’ll never build an electric car

Ferrari is all about the speed and luxury, and apparently those words don’t go well with “electric,” according to Ferrari chairman Di Montezemolo, who said that as long as he’s chairman, the exotic car maker will never build an electric car. So for those waiting for the LaFerrari all-electric car will sadly not see such a day come.

FERRARI NORTH AMERICA AUCTION OF THE FIRST F12BERLINETTA

Of course, Ferrari’s new LaFerrari has a hybrid component, so the company is at least meeting halfway, but an all-electric vehicle will most likely never be built inside of Ferrari’s factories. It’s certainly possible, however, that when a new boss takes over Ferrari, we could see a change in that belief, but for the time being, no electric cars are in the works for the company.

Montezemolo also discussed Ferrari’s production plans for the rest of the year, and it seems they’re going to keep numbers down for the most part. The chairman says that Ferrari will keep its production run below 7,000 cars this year in order to maintain exclusivity, which Montezemolo compared to desiring and waiting for “a beautiful woman.”

While Ferrari plans to make less cars this year, Montezemolo says that the company’s revenues and profits would match last year’s. Under 7,000 cars in one year is quite exclusive, and not one of those cars will sport an electric motor. We suppose most people still love hearing the throaty sound of a V12 gasoline engine.

An Actual Ferrari is Cheaper Than This Ferrari Watch

When it’s time for that mid-life crisis, you’ll look to the Ferrari of course. It’s beautiful and expensive and you think it will make young girls dig you. But now there’s a matching watch that you have to buy too. Who cares if you will spend the rest of your life paying for them right?

hublot ferrari watch 1

The Hublot MP-05 LaFerrari is designed to be a complimentary timepiece to the car. The LaFerrari was announced in March with a hybrid V12 engine with nearly 1000 horsepower. The car will cost you $1.3 million (USD). There are only 499 limited edition units after all. The MP-05 watch will be even harder to get. Hublot is only making 50 of them. The watch will cost an estimated $300,000, which is more than many new Ferrari models. It’s still cheaper than the LaFerrari itself, so that’s something.

It features a sapphire crystal facade sculpted to imitate the lines of the automobile. The casing is made of tough PVD titanium. The movement is powered by 637 individual components. The MP-05 has a 50-day power reserve too.

This watch is so awesome that it is wound with a special power drill that spins a series of 11 barrels arranged down the center of the face. As the barrels wind down, a cylindrical indicator on the left face counts down the days.

This Hublot LaFerrari Watch Looks Perfect For Cobra Commander

Hublot-La-Ferrari-2

While I’m not a big fan of ostentatious watches that cost too much and are aimed at buyers with more money than sense (in short, most of the Hublot line) I will give this odd-looking watch a moment of reflection. It is the MP-05 LaFerrari, a tourbillon watch with a 50-day power reserve, a number almost unheard of in the watch world, and a unique styling that is reminiscent of a certain Arashikage ninja.

The watch itself has a custom HUB9005.H1.6 movement and displays the time in a series of vertical registers. There is a visible tourbillon (essentially a rotating balance wheel AKA the little wheel that “spins” in your average mechanical watch) on the bottom of the watch as well as a winding port on the top. To wind it you use this little power drill. Seriously.

A power reserve indicator tells you how long you have to go before you whip out your little drill gun and the entire thing is designed to look like the cowling on the $1.3 million LaFerrari or, more precisely, Cobra Commander’s codpiece. The watch is completely handmade and you can see more photos here. It comes in a limited edition of 50 and you can expect to pay $300,000 for the privilege of strapping it to your wrist.

Hublot’s LaFerrari Watch Complements the Car You Can’t Afford

Is there any greater social faux pas than showing up to a social event in a $1.3 million hybrid super car without a matching timepiece on your wrist? Thankfully those who took a leap of faith and pre-ordered the new LaFerrari supercar can now breath a sigh of relief as Hublot has revealed the complementing MP-05 “LaFerrari’ watch that’s a mechanical masterpiece in its own right. Dubai adds Ferrari FF to police fleet

Just days after adding a Lamborghini Aventador to their police car lineup, the city of Dubai has added yet another awesome sports car to its fleet of police vehicles. On top of the Aventador, the Ferrari FF is being added to the roster as well. While it’s only a three-door shooting-brake, it can still haul up to two bad guys off to jail.

ferrari-ff

While the Ferrari FF may not look all that sleek and exotic (it looks like a BMW M Coupe for crying out loud), it still packs in that luxurious sports car feel, and they sell for around $300,000 a piece. It squeezes in a 6.3-liter V12 engine which produces 650 HP. It’s the largest capacity production engine that Ferrari has ever produced.

Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim, who is the Dubai Police Chief, said that Dubai is a unique city, and because of that, everything in the city should be unique. Apparently, that was reason enough for Dubai to add a Ferrari to their police force. Tamim wanted to confirm that Dubai is magnificent and extravagant in all the services it provides.

Of course, we can’t blame them for wanting to spice up their police force in order to be unique. Dubai is a pretty unique city where the buildings practically scream “money” at you while you’re driving down the road. Long story short: Don’t expect to outrun the Dubai Police in whatever piece of crap you’ll be driving at the time.

Ferrari by Logic3 announces FS1 Air speaker dock

When you hear of a name like Ferrari by Logic3, you know for sure that this is no ripoff, but rather, it is a collaboration between one of the most successful stories in motorsports racing along with an audio company that always wants to deliver nothing but the best to its customers. Well, their latest collaboration has resulted in what they call the FS1 Air speaker dock, where this particular speaker dock will come with AirPlay technology which enables it to stream music wirelessly from iTunes or Apple devices.

Just what kind of hardware does the FS1 Air offer? Well, it boasts of a sophisticated design that was clearly inspired by the Scuderia Ferrari racing team, achieving a balance between the GT Car’s innovative lines, creases and curves along the way. Not only that, there is also a 2.1 speaker system which will incorporate Apple AirPlay technology so that users are able to stream their favorite tunes sans wires from iTunes or Apple devices. This is one flexible speaker system which also sports Bluetooth connectivity, just in case you do not happen to own any AirPlay compatible device in your household, preferring instead to rock to Android or Windows based devices.

Oh yeah, did we mention that the FS1 Air speaker dock will also come with an Apple Dock connector that allows you to charge and play your Apple device simultaneously? The FS1 Air will boast of a compact design which in essence, allows it to be the perfect addition to any room in the house, or if you prefer to perk up your workplace, at the office. It will incorporate patented Class HD Technology alongside a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) that controls the crossover and equalization processes, delivering an end result which goes along the lines of best performance, natural musical timbre and extended low frequency response.

Ferrari by Logic3 has just launched its new speaker dock, the Scuderia FS1 Air. The Scuderia FS1 Air comes equipped with Airplay, so you can stream music wirelessly from your iOS devices, or from iTunes. THe FS1 Air has a very compact design, meaning its designed to fit into any area in your home or in your office. It has Class HD Technology, an amplifier that delivers high power density and high efficiency, combined with a Digital Signal Processor, which controls the equalization and crossover of your music, to create the best performance possible and best tone quality for your music.

Of course, if you don’t want to wirelessly stream your music to the Scuderia FS1, you can always plug your music device in via the 3.5mm jack available on the device, or dock your iOS devices on the 30-pin connector. The Scuderia FS1 Air Speaker Dock was inspired by the Scuderia Ferrari racing team, as well as the Ferrari itself. You can tell by the speaker’s beautiful curves, black and red color scheme, and the quality of music the device can produce.

Ashvin Patel, CEO of Logic3, says, “We designed the FS1 Air to offer a sophisticated solution that provides a crisp and powerful audio experience.” We first heard about the Scuderia FS1 Air Speaker Dock way back at CES this year. Previously, we expected the device to cost about $549.00, however, the price has been confirmed to be $649.00. It’s quite expensive for an audio dock, but it’s something audiophiles will want to have in their collection.

FS1 Air Speaker Dock Announced

FS1 Air Speaker Dock AnnouncedNow here we are with another speaker dock that has arrived in the market, although this particular model will definitely be a hit with those who love the prancing pony as part of their exotic supercar collection. I am referring to the FS1 Air speaker dock, where this piece of consumer electronics hail from Ferrari By Logic3, who happen to be the creators of the Ferrari audio collection, and this launch of the FS1 Air speaker dock will boast AirPlay technology compatibility that allows it to stream music wirelessly from iTunes or Apple devices.

The FS1 Air will feature a sophisticated design (what else?) that is inspired by the Scuderia Ferrari racing team, where it intends to achieve a balance between the GT Car’s innovative lines, creases and curves. Apple AirPlay technology has been incorporated into the 2.1 speaker system, so that users are able to stream music wirelessly from iTunes or Apple devices. Apart from that, it will play nice with Bluetooth-enabled devices, handling music playback sans wires from Android and Windows based devices. Other features include the ability to charge and play your Apple device simultaneously like any self respecting speaker dock would. The Apple AirPlay technology retails for $649 a pop.
