Kame Camera App Breathes New Life into Your Japanese Photo Memes

Remember those photo memes that recently went viral? The one that features a classic Dragon Ball or Street Fighter inspired pose where someone blasts everyone off to kingdom come, and the one that’s inspired from Darth Vader’s signature force choke?

These photos are already fun as they are, but an app that can add even more to these shots that are intended to go viral has been released. It’s called the Kame Camera app and it’ll breath some Manga-inspired life into your photo memes.

Kame Camera

The Kame app enhances these photo memes by letting users add swirling flames and shock and lightning effects to their images with a few quick taps.

I Can Has Cheeseburger To Wrap My Gifts

Cheeseburger Wrapping PaperOther than different pretty patterns, reversible paper, and coordinating gift tags, little has changed when it comes to wrapping paper over the years. There is something new out there that is clever and whimsical with a dash of American food obsession. The five different papers make up the ingredients of a classic cheeseburger.

Avengers Assemble in All-in-one Cosplay

Check out this amusing cosplay of all of the Avengers assembled into one body, put together by Damon McNeill. I’m not sure if he couldn’t make up his mind or just wanted to shake things up. But either way, the cosplay is pretty awesome and is truly one of a kind.

Avengers Cosplay

So you’ve spotted elements of Captain America on the dude’s shirt and shield, Iron Man on the helmet and chest light, Thor with his hammer and hair, the Hulk with his shorts and legs, Hawkeye with his bow, and Nick Fury with the eye patch. That leaves the Black Widow…

Before you think he wasn’t able to figure out a way to incorporate the vivacious female member of the Avengers to his costume, look at his arms more closely.

Yep, that’s right: he’s got the Black Widow’s arms. Sneaky, sneaky.

An Animated 8-Bit Re-telling of ‘Iron Man’ in 60 Seconds

Remember those 8-bit video games from yesteryear, with thier pixelized animation and primitive music and sound effects? Well, CineFix is taking inspiration from these vintage games for a new series called 8-Bit Cinema, where they’ll be retelling popular movies in sixty animated seconds of pure awesomeness.

8 Bit Iron Man

The series debuts with the original Iron Man movie. It skimps on the details but keeps all of the good stuff and retells Iron Man in a fun and compelling way – all in under a minute. You can check out the clip below:

Not only did they nail the major plot points of the movie, but it actually looks like a pretty fun game.

BBQ Tool BeltMaking sure that those coals are just right or the flame just so hot before you start to grill is serious business. You also have to have all the right tools for the job. Really? For all those tool guys out there who take their summer holiday barbecuing as a mission from God, this tool belt is just the thing to help answer the call.

Grid 2 BAC Mono Edition Comes with a Car: Best Pre-order Bundle Ever

One of the better tactics that publishers use to entice gamers to pre-order is by creating special bundles that include real goodies. The notable ones include the PIP-Boy 3000 clock from a Fallout 3 bundle and the loot chest from a Borderlands 2 bundle. But no bundle can compare with the Grid 2 BAC Mono Edition. It comes with an actual car.

And not just any car, mind you. The BAC Mono is a street-legal race car. It has a 2.3L 280hp engine and a carbon fiber body, for starters, allowing it to go from 0 to 60mph in just 2.8s, with a top speed of 170mph. The popular British car show Top Gear named it one of their top picks in 2011. It should come as no surprise then that the Guiness World Records hails the bundle as the “Most Expensive Video Game Commercially Available – Special Edition.”

And yet for some reason the car isn’t on the game’s cover. The bundle is a one-time offer and costs £125,000 (~$190,000 USD). In case you were wondering, the car alone costs £96,495 (~$146,000 USD). That means the game on its own will retail for $44,000. Just kidding. The deep-pocketed gearhead who claims the Grid 2 BAC Mono Edition also gets a PS3, a racing outfit (a helmet, a suit and a pair of gloves) and a day at the BAC Mono factory. The buyer will meet with BAC personnel to tour the factory and personalize his new ride.

Ask your assistant’s assistant’s secretary’s butler’s falcon breeder’s son’s geeky friend to contact BAC at sales@bac-mono.com to order the bundle. But just for kicks, check out UK store GAME’s pre-order page for the game as well. The six-figure tag is just sitting there as if it were a pre-order for any other game. Deadpan humor at its finest. Seriously go to the page and get a screenshot of it.

Toaster Hat Keeps Your Head Toasty

…and the fact that it looks like a cowboy hat makes it perfect for cooking up some Texas Toast. It’s perfect for cowboys with a need for toast on the range.

DeviantArtist Fox-Blue had this a toaster just laying around (and a dream to be a toast-eating cowboy) so he made this toaster hat. I would call it a breakfast stetson.

In fact, why can’t butlers and waitpeople wear these? It would be nice for the toast to pop out as soon as they reach your table. Here’s your toast, sir. Will there be anything else? I think he’s on to something here.

Lazy Jewelry: Sloth Rings

Lazy dressers now have one accessory that they must add to their collection: Sloth Rings. Their name says it all, actually. They’re basically rings featuring a sloth that looks like it’s hugging your finger when you put it on.

Adorable little critters, aren’t they?

Finger Sloth Ring

You can choose from three available sloth colors, but if you’re too lazy to even do that, then I suggest you for brown, which is pretty much their default color.

The rings are handmade using polymer clay by Teresa Macdonald of CuriousBurrow, and because of that, you can expect that no two sloths will ever be completely the same.

The Sloth Rings are available online for $20(USD) each. They’re made to order, so you’ll have to wait two to three weeks before your ring gets shipped out. And if you’re too lazy to slip one on your finger, she also makes a sloth necklace, and a sloth to hold your keys for you.
