Razer works on custom-designed peripherals for World of Tanks

wot-deathadderRazer is a company that has had plenty of experience when it comes to rolling out gaming hardware that caters for high performance gamers as well as professionals. Having said that, they have also introduced their fair share of game tie-ins in the past, and it is not too different this time around with a mouse and mouse mat combo that has been stylized with design elements from Wargaming’s tank MMO action game

Razer, working hand in hand with Wargaming, where the latter happens to be the leading free-to-play MMO developer and publisher, have announced a new range of gaming peripherals for World of Tanks, where part of the package would include a customized Razer DeathAdder mouse as well as a World of Tanks Razer Goliathus mouse mat.

The custom-designed Razer mouse will come with a well-known DeathAdder ergonomic design, where it will also boast of an aggressively orange illuminated World of Tanks logo. Virtual tank commanders will have no issues pairing the premium gaming device with a World of Tanks Razer Goliathus mouse mat, where the latter has been specially designed for those who use their gaming mice to earn a living with the required surface for steady aim.

Be an early bird and you will be able to take advantage of the first 20,000 units of both products that will include in-game bonus codes for World of Tanks, featuring the exclusive Pz. Kpfw. IV Hydraulic Tank, only available to World of Tanks Razer DeathAdder users.

Just how much of a premium would an avid fan have to fork out for the World of Tanks Razer DeathAdder? It will cost you $79.99 a pop, and having been released in 2006, it still remains as the world’s best-selling gaming mouse to-date. I am quite sure that if you already own a DeathAdder mouse, getting this would not be too much of an issue if you also happen to love World of Tanks to bits.

ROCCAT Kone Pure Color Phantom White version announced

ROCCAT-Kone-Pure-Color-Phantom-WhiteGamers are extremely fussy about the kind of hardware that they use, and most of the time, they would stick to a particular brand for each kind of device. For instance, some folks would swear by Razer for their keyboards, Turtle Beach for the headphones, and ROCCAT for the mouse. Assuming you have yet to give other brands a try, why not open up your heart a little and make sure that other manufacturers have a chance? ROCCAT has just announced that they have made available the Phantom White version of their ROCCAT Kone Pure Color gaming mouse, and this will come in a limited edition format as usual.

The Phantom White variation of the limited edition Kone Pure Color sure sounds like a treat, but do bear in mind that apart from the aesthetic change on the outside, everything else underneath the hood would pretty much remain the same, similar to the original Kone Pure. In fact, the Color edition will arrive with a high-end 8,200 DPI Pro-Aim R3 laser sensor and high quality Omron switches, while boasting of features such as Easy-Shift[+], Easy-Aim and ROCCAT Talk, making the Kone Pure Color is a powerful and potent weapon in the hands of gamers who are duking it out for point-streaks, lanes and bases.

This happens to be one of a series of limited edition products that rolled out to the masses throughout the entire year, which also happens to be the “Year of the Kone”, as part of a celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Kone series. The Phantom White variation of the gaming mouse is not the first to see a color change, as it follows up on efforts by the likes of the Inferno Orange, Hellfire Red and Polar Blue Kone Pure Colors.

Logitech G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse has unprecedented battery life

logitech-g602-gaming-mouseNo two gaming mice are alike – ask any gamer, and they will tell you that. Some gamers prefer something simple, especially when you have bound all your keys to different weapons, that all you need to do with your mouse would be to fire your primary weapon, a secondary weapon, and to move with unparalleled precision. Well, some other gamers like something a little bit – nay, a whole lot more complicated, and the more bells and whistles, the better. I suppose the Logitech G602 wireless gaming mouse would be the ideal gaming peripheral in this case as it is also a “marathon runner” in a sense where it boasts over eight times the battery life compared to other wireless gaming mice. We are talking about a serious 250 hours of non-stop gaming action here, all without having to compromise its gaming grade sensor or connection performance.

Needless to say, the Logitech G602 is the most recent mouse in the Logitech G lineup, where it will also set up a new standard in wireless gaming. There will no no cords to worry about, and that means clutter and interference free gaming sessions without any lag whatsoever. The Logitech G602 will boast of two modes, namely Performance and Endurance. When in Performance mode, the Logitech G602 will deliver up to 250 hours of non-stop battery life even when in full gaming mode, but in Endurance mode, you get over 1,400 hours of use as it would then kick in its non-gaming mode.

To make sure that you get the best gaming experience possible, the Logitech G602 will also feature an exclusive Delta Zero sensor technology that delivers high-accuracy cursor control. Not only that, there is also an ultra durable build with primary mechanical switches which have been rated to a 20 million-click lifespan. Other than that, there are also eleven programmable controls so that you can master your favorite games easily by assigning the actions you use most to the buttons you want, all thanks to the Logitech Gaming Software. The asking price for the Logitech G602? $79.99 a pop.
