Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition Bug Prevents App From Being Uninstalled

According to a smattering of reports we’ve been hearing, it would seem as though the Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition is being plagued by a particularly nasty bug that does not seem to allow the user to uninstall apps. Uninstalling or removing an app from a phone is usually a straightforward and painless process, either by dragging it to the trash in the app drawer, or by loading up Google Play and choosing to uninstall it from there.     LG announces LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition tablet

    lg-gpad-83The folks over at LG have made an announcement for their first ever Google Play Edition tablet, which would arrive in the form of the LG G Pad 8.3 that will be powered by the Android 4.4 KitKat mobile operating system. This will also be Google’s very first Android Open Source Project (AOSP) tablet, where it will be available for purchase over on Google Play in the US. Just what kind of hardware specifications can we expect to find underneath the hood of the LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition tablet?

    For starters, your eyes will definitely be more than pleased to discover LG’s stunning 1920 x 1200 WUXGA resolution Full HD IPS display, ensuring that you get to enjoy an optimal viewing experience every single time. Apart from that, apps will also be able to make use of all available pixels on the LG Pad 8.3’s screen so that one can enjoy a full-bleed user interface that reaches from edge to edge. There is also the option to hide the system’s user interface, which will include the status bar and navigation bar, making it ideal for rich visual content that range from photos to videos, maps, books and games.

    The entire LG G Pad 8.3 was designed based on insights from consumers, and you end up with a compact, modern-looking device that accentuates sleek lines and subtle curves, making it extremely comfortable to hold, even with a single hand.
