Domino’s Pizza Accepts Payment Via Google Wallet Now

Domino’s Pizza Accepts Payment Via Google Wallet NowPizza – comfort food that does have its fair share of nutrition, such as vegetables (mushrooms, capsicum, olives…), and of course, full of cheesy goodness if you want to. I personally love Domino’s Pizza and their menu, and it is nice to hear that the pizza chain has now started to accept payment via Google Wallet. In fact, those who actually make use of Google’s digital wallet with Domino’s Android app will also be on the receiving end of free Specialty Chicken.

Google Wallet happens to be a free mobile payment system which would enable users to stash the likes of debit cards, credit cards and loyalty cards electronically on their smartphone. If you are a Domino’s customer who has placed an online order of at least $10 using the Android ordering app, and decide to pay with the “Buy with Google” button at checkout, then your stomach will be filled with a free order of Domino’s new Specialty Chicken. This particular offer is good through June 15th.

Patrick Doyle, Domino’s Pizza president and chief executive officer, shared, “This is yet another way Domino’s is using technology to improve our customer experience. Google Wallet is a great technology that allows customers even more flexibility and convenience when it comes to paying for their Domino’s orders.”

Basically, after April 14th, only Android smartphones which run on Android 4.4 KitKat will play nice with Google Wallet’s “Tap and Pay” capabilities. Basically, the “Tap and Pay” feature enables one to tap a handset to a pad in the area of the POS checkout machine, so that your bill at that point in time will be paid via a debit or credit card which has been synchronized to your virtual wallet.

You Can Now Add Cards To Google Wallet By Taking Their Picture

You Can Now Add Cards To Google Wallet By Taking Their Picture

Google has rolled out a new update for the Google Wallet app, which brings a useful feature, one that is going to make things a lot easier. The updated app comes with support for adding cards by simply taking their picture. That’s right, to add new credit or debit cards to their Google Wallet, all users have to do now is to simply take a picture. The app will automatically capture the card number and its expiration date and add it, so that the user can then proceed to make payments as and when required.

Apart from this feature, the app also comes with minor bug fixes and performance improvements. No major changes or enhancements have been made in the suer interface or design department. Support for Google Wallet Card has been added as well. The physical Google Wallet Card was announced recently, and now that the app supports it, users can spend their Wallet balance at millions of MasterCard locations and even withdraw cash at ATMs. Google Wallet app is compatible with any Android device that is running firmware version 2.3.3 or higher. The updated Google Wallet app is live now and available for download absolutely free from the Google Play Store.

Google Wallet lets you capture credit card info with your smartphone camera

The contents of your wallet are under attack. Earlier this month Coin swept in threatening to eliminate the need for all of your beloved non-cash payment methods and now Google Wallet is making it even easier to capture your plastic with its latest Android update. Along with the introduction of its very own physical debit cards, Google added the ability to upload your debit and credit cards to Wallet by simply snapping a picture with your smartphone — similar to the recent addition to the Dropbox Android app. Instead of entering your card numbers manually (such a drag, we know), those users who see a camera icon in the “card number” field of the Wallet mobile app, can capture both the card number and expiration date with a photograph.
