There was much debate over Google’s decision to display marketing and promotional emails in a standalone “Promotions” tab in Gmail. Incoming emails that are deemed to be offering promotions or deals are no longer shown along with the users’ personal emails. Google has just signed a deal with Luxottica. You may never had heard of ’em, but they’re the eyewear manufacturer behind the likes of Oakley and Ray-Ban—and they could, maybe, possibly, make Glass cool. Perhaps.
The hallowed hallways of a university or other prestigious institutions of higher learning are meant to equip us with the knowledge required to pursue the area of interest that has bugged us since we were a kid, although many of us do work at a job which is totally unrelated to the course that we majored in. At the University of Southern California, it seems that a new course known as “Glass Journalism” is all set for the fall semester, where students are required to figure out the various ways that journalists are able to “tell” stories thanks to the wonders of augmented reality and Google Glass.

Google Search For Android Updated, Will Notify You About Upcoming Traffic Jams
Posted in: Today's ChiliWe know how annoying it can be when you’re driving along the roads which seems relatively clear, you turn the corner, and suddenly you find yourself in the worst traffic jam possible. It sucks, we know, and there are ways to prevent that by using apps such as Waze, or even Google Maps which shows traffic conditions.
Well the good news is that Google has recently announced an update to its Google Search app for Android in which Google Now will now send you a notification if you’re about to encounter a traffic jam, without the user having to ask or to keep an eye on their phone to ensure that the route they chose is jam-free.
