Earlier today, Google took to Google+ to debunk what it claims to be the "Top 10 Google Glass Myths." But while there are plenty of Glass half-truths swirling around the internet, Google’s list doesn’t contain any of them. Instead, it’s a sky-high pile of strawmen that confirms just one thing: Google’s fully on the Glass defensive.
At the moment the latest version of Android KitKat is version 4.4.2. So far it seems that there has not been any mention as to whether Google could be releasing more updates for KitKat before Android 4.5, but according to reports, it seems that Google could have one or two more updates left for KitKat before the next major Android refresh.
According to Myce who spotted the KTU65 Android build running on the Nexus 5, they speculate that this could be an update that has yet to be released. So we have been hearing rumors that Google could be planning on launching a Nexus 8 tablet. The tablet will supposedly feature an 8-inch display although according to recent reports, it seems that the device might instead feature a display closer to 9-inches than 8-inches.
This is according to IHS Technology who revealed the information to the folks at CNET, claiming that Google’s upcoming tablet might sport an 8.9-inch display instead.
