Different users have different choices, you won’t find everyone who loves an iPhone buy it in gold color. Apple recently unveiled the iPhone 5S and announced that the smartphone will be available in a gold color. Soon after that photos of an alleged gold HTC One surfaced online. According to a Russian website, the device will go on sale in the country for more than $3,000. That’s quite a lot for a HTC One, but the price is justified by the fact that this particular HTC One variant actually contains real 24 carat gold.

A gold-colored HTC One part has come to light in China. The start of a new trend
It was rumored a couple of months ago that HTC is developing a new Windows Phone 8 devicet that is based on the design of its popular HTC One smartphone. This device has been rumored a couple of times, apparently it carries the “Harmony” codename inside the company. Today the alleged specifications of HTC Harmony have leaked. It is expected that the company might launch this smartphone in either October or November.
The rumor claims that HTC Harmony will come equipped with a 4.7 inch LCD3 full HD 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of on-board storage, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, Beats Audio, BoomSound, Ultrapixel rear camera and a 2,300mAh battery. HTC hasn’t said if it is indeed in the process of developing a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone. Apart from that, this rumor comes from a source that doesn’t have any track record, good or bad, so a grain of salt is definitely advised. The rumor doesn’t talk about pricing or specific availability dates. Only recently Microsoft announced that it has acquired Nokia core phone business. Many people were wondering how other WP8 manufacturers will feel about this deal. HTC only said that it is “assessing” the situation, it hasn’t said as yet if there’s any radical change to its Windows Phone 8 strategy.

HTC One smartphone users on the AT&T network who have been waiting patiently or even impatiently for the next upgrade for their operating system will need to wait a bit longer for an official update. However, if you’re the sort of smartphone user who doesn’t mind using unofficially leaked software, a version of Android 4.3 […]
During our review of the HTC One, we did not run into much problems with the unit or its camera, but it seems that in the month of June, a thread popped up on the XDA forums where a user complained about how photos taken in low-light situations have resulted in red, blue, or purple noise. According to the complaint, “my problem is that in night shots and very low light scenes, the camera turns the black into blue (or red in very very dark scenes). For example, I included some photos, on a dark street with only a few light posts it turns black areas into blurry blue. Yes, it lets in more light (and more natural looking light) than my old One X, but the black areas are blue.” (more…)

Android 4.3 For HTC One Leaked
Posted in: Today's ChiliHTC One owners, if you’re looking to get your hands on the Android 4.3 update but AT&T is still holding off on releasing it, you’re in luck because thanks to a leak, AT&T HTC One models will be able to get their hands on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. Unfortunately due to this not being an official update, it’s hard to say if this will be the final build that AT&T will be releasing to the public at a later date, or if we’re looking at some kind of beta.
It had been previously reported that the phone could receive its Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update in September, and assuming that previous reports were accurate, this build might indeed be the final one, or at least close enough. Installing the leaked update might not be as easy as you think, at least not for the casual Android user who might not have experience with this kind of installs before, so if you’re unfamiliar with the process, you might want to hold off until the official update, but for those who know what they’re doing, hit up RootzWiki for more info and the download.
