Blue HTC One A Best Buy Exclusive

Blue HTC One A Best Buy ExclusiveThe HTC One did earn its fair share of bouquets after being introduced to the world, but somehow or rather, the handset did not do too well in the long run despite an initial sales surge. Perhaps it is due to the brand’s perception among the masses that have yet to be healed after being “scarred” by a number of lackluster releases in the past, or could it have been the failure of HTC’s distribution and marketing arms? So many questions, so few answers. HTC intends to carve open a new sales channel in the US, and they intend to deliver the new all metallic blue HTC One as a Best Buy exclusive from September 15th onwards.

This particular model of the HTC One would be made available via over 1,400 Best Buy locations in the US, where it will boast support for 4G LTE service from Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. Unfortunately for those of you who have already fallen in love with the device based on the color of it alone and what you have seen online, pricing details have yet to be unveiled by HTC. Who wants to warrant a guess that it will cost the normal $199 a pop, accompanied by a two year agreement as what is deemed to be the “status quo”? Only time will tell, so stay tuned.

HTC One Tablet Is Most Probably A Ramos K1

HTC One Tablet Is Most Probably A Ramos K1It was just yesterday when we brought you an image of what could possibly have been the HTC One tablet, but in its raw form. Well, apparently that is not the case as there is a very high chance that this could be the Ramos K1 tablet instead. Of course, it makes perfect sense for many to think that what we see above is the purported HTC One tablet that is set to be unveiled in the future by HTC, although there is no ruling out the possibility of the above, too, being a decent Photoshop job.

Some have said that it is the Ramos K1 tablet, and considering how Ramos happens to be a manufacturer from China, we are not surprised by this about turn in the photo’s status above. After all, most of the clones that we have seen in the market tend to hail from China, not to be discriminatory or anything, but a fact’s a fact. Then again, it is also pretty rare to have a clone of a device that has not yet hit the market officially appear. Who can really tell, actually, other than the original image’s poster coming out to tell it as it is.

    Alleged HTC One Tablet Spotted

    Alleged HTC One Tablet Spotted

HTC One wowed customers and many critics with its sleek design and all metal body. The design did prove to be a hit, the company also released a mini version of the smartphone with a similar design. It is also expected to release the HTC One Max, a purported phablet that retains the design and build quality of its younger sibling. A new image has surfaced online which shows off a purported tablet that proudly touts the HTC One design, if this is the real deal, it means the company is set on milking its popular design. Screen size is said to be between 8 to 10 inches.

Not much is known about this tablet at this point in time. There’s also the possibility that it might be a knockoff, we’ve already seen a HTC One Max clone even though the company hasn’t even announced that device as yet. The difference between HTC One Max and HTC One Tablet, apart from the display size, are the corners, which are more squared off on the tablet. The phablet is expected to have a 5.9 inch display and corners rounded more than the purported tablet. No information about specifications and features has leaked as yet, we can expect to hear more if this turns out to be a real product that HTC is working on. [Image via Weibo]

HTC One To Receive Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update This September

HTC One To Receive Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update This SeptemberIf you happen to own the HTC One and reside on either Old Europe or in the US, then here is some news to carve out a smile on your face this Monday morning. According to HTC America’s president Jason Mackenzie who responded to several questions via Twitter concerning the HTC One’s upcoming Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. Mackenzie mentioned and reassured the masses that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean development for the HTC One is right on track, and the rollout will happen at the end of September 2013, regardless of which particular continent you are on.

Not only that, someone did send in a photo to GSMArena of a blue colored HTC One (which was speculated to arrive on Sprint in the near future) that was caught running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean at IFA 2013. If HTC pulls off this Android 4.3 update later this month, then it would mean they are ahead of the competition as Samsung will supposedly only bring out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to their flagship range of devices later this October. As for Sony Mobile, they have remained pretty quiet as to when their Xperia Z flagship range will be on the receiving end of some Android 4.3 goodness.
