It goes without saying that the closer a particular device is to being released in the market, the higher the chance of it being leaked out. As to whether the leak was done on purpose or otherwise, it remains to be seen. Having said that, we are not surprised to see just another bunch of HTC One Max photos running around in the wild, although this time around, it will not be all alone. The alleged HTC One Max seems to be compared to the HTC One, but there is also the rumor of a fingerprint scanner located on the back, right under the rear camera. It remains to be seen whether the sensor will eventually arrive in the retail version, so all we need to do is wait.

Other speculated hardware specifications include a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, a 5.9” 1080p Super LCD3 display, an UltraPixel camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and a battery of at least 3,200mAh in capacity. If this is a true blue phablet, then it would certainly be worth looking into as chances are it will make quite a splash when it finally arrives in the market. Pricing details, of course, remain to be determined.

Earlier this week, Apple finally unveiled two new iPhones, the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S, both of which would be made available in a variety of colors. The iPhone 5S, however, will have gold as one of its color options giving those of us who enjoy the finer things in life the chance to really enjoy the luxury that comes with owning a gold iPhone. Gold HTC One Spotted In Leaked Photos original content from Ubergizmo.

We have been hearing rumors about a HTC One Max and in the past and have even seen some alleged leaked images. The handset has been rumored for a Q4 release and last we heard, would be destined for Sprint at the very least. Now thanks to @evleaks, the alleged HTC One Max branding image has been leaked, giving us a glimpse as to what the logo of the device could look like. This is just the logo but then again, we have seen leaked images of the device in the past so we guess there won’t be anything new to see.

For those wondering about the HTC One Max, the handset will be HTC’s attempt at a phablet that will try its best to show up the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It has been rumored to sport a 5.9” Full HD display, a quad-core chipset by Qualcomm using the Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 3,200mAh battery, and rumor has it that it too will come with a fingerprint sensor which will be interesting to see how it will hold up against the iPhone 5s’ fingerprint sensor.

In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more info so check back with us at a later date for the details!

Alleged HTC One Max Branding Leaked original content from Ubergizmo.

We’re usually quite skeptical when it comes to leaked phone parts, especially those that just show a new color, but this one seems fairly reliable. Courtesy of the same Sina Weibo user who previously showed us a blue HTC One (which has since been announced along with its mini counterpart), we’re now looking at what appears to be the front-half of a gold-colored One. Call it impeccable timing, but given the August 12th date stamp on the part, chances are HTC also had this planned some time ago. In fact, a 24-Carat gold One already exists.

In addition to the leakster’s track record, the hand-written marks on the parts lend credence to their authenticity. The One series’ designer Justin Huang (who’s sadly in a bit of trouble right now) previously told us that the letters grade the form of the front-side frame, in order to help pick matching parts. It’s also worth pointing out that we’ve yet to come across any fake custom HTC One parts in the Huaqiangbei market, which is likely because of the difficult manufacturing and disassembly process. That said, the phone’s relatively lower demand than, say, the iPhones and Samsung devices may be a bigger deterrent for those part makers. Let’s see if this new color option will change HTC’s course.

It was not too long ago that a couple of devices which were better known by their model numbers, the HTC 0P4E200 and HTC 0P4E230, picked up the necessary Wi-Fi certification. Apparently, there is a similar device but one that will arrive in a different variant that has also picked up the very same Bluetooth Certification, where it will be known as the HTC 0P4E220 instead. It does seem as though the HTC 0P4E220 will be one of the variant models that will eventually make its way to Europe as well as the North American market.

There is one big and major question mark that looms over the horizon – just what is the HTC 0P4E220 all about? The simple and easy answer would be to say that this is an Android-powered smartphone, but considering how the hardware specifications remain a mystery to the rest of the world, it could end up being a phablet or tablet for all we know. As with most mysteries in the tech world, there is but one sure remedy to settle those excitable nerves – through the practice of a long forgotten virtue, patience, and eventually, sister time will reveal everything needed to know on an official basis to the masses.
