Instagram for Android is an app that has just been updated, where it will arrive with the long awaited ability to be able to straighten out those photos – something that iPhone users have been able to do for a couple of months already.

Satiregram Is the Only Instagram Account You Need to Follow

The best Instagram that everyone should go follow right now, Satiregram, doesn’t have any pictures at all. Or well, that’s not completely true. It obviously has pictures but all of its Instagram pictures is just text captions describing terribly cliche pictures you always see on Instagram. It’s riot-inducing hilarious because it’s absolutely true.

iGrann Instagram Client For BlackBerry 10 To Be Released Soon

iGrann Instagram Client For BlackBerry 10 To Be Released Soon

There’s no official Instagram app available for BlackBerry 10 right now. Users have to make do with an Android port by sideloading the APK on their BB10 device. Time and again it has been said that the official app will probably not be coming soon. This was reiterated by BlackBerry’s VP of developer relations at the Jam Asia 2013 conference last week. He suggested that users find an “alternative.” A third party Instagram client for BlackBerry 10 will soon be making its way into the BlackBerry World, and it brings an impressive list of features.

iGrann is a full featured native Instagram client for BlackBerry 10. Users will be able to register, login, edit profile information, browse feeds and photos, explore the popular page, search for users and hashtags as well as share pictures through it. Not only that, they’ll also have the ability to upload photos, make comments and even like and unlike them. However, at launch, users won’t be able to apply filters to photos, browse or upload videos or receive push notification. The developer says that all of these features, except push notifications, are planned and will be made available in later versions. iGrann is said to be free at launch, though it is not said exactly when it will be appearing in the BlackBerry World. Instagram For BlackBerry Will Not Be Arriving Anytime Soon

Instagram For BlackBerry Will Not Be Arriving Anytime SoonIt has been stated many times in the past that Instagram would not be arriving on BlackBerry anytime soon, but for whatever reason we guess there are BlackBerry users out there who are hoping that this would change in the future, but unfortunately this does not look to be the case as BlackBerry’s VP of developer relations, Alec Saunders, has quashed all hope during a Q&A session during BlackBerry Jam Asia 2013. Speaking to the folks at Lifehacker, Saunders stated that the company hah engaged in talks with the folks at Instagram in the past and was quoted as saying, “We have had so many conversations with Instagram and made many different offers of ways to somehow work with it.”

Saunders went on to state that if Instagram is what you really want, you will have to look for an alternative, i.e. third-party software, or sideload the Android version of the app onto your BlackBerry device. “I would encourage people who own a BlackBerry and want to share photos to find an alternative.” So there you have it, if anything this actually sounds pretty definitive so you should probably not hold your breath. Now that it has been reaffirmed for the nth time, are BlackBerry users still disappointed by the lack of Instagram on their phones?

Instagram For iOS 7 Available Now

Instagram For iOS 7 Available Now

Soon after Apple released iOS 7 on September 18th, developers started updating their apps to bring the look and feel in line with the company’s new update. A number of major apps were immediately updated, including Facebook. A few days down the road, Instagram for iOS 7 has been released. The team behind it has rebuilt the look and feel of Instagram to focus on clarity, which is what iOS 7 is focused on with its “flat” user interface. The size of photos and videos in the feed has been increased. What this means is that content will now expand to fit the edges of the screen. Increased size also means increased resolution, so photos and videos will now be clearer and more vibrant.

Grid view has been streamlined so that content appears larger. Keeping up with iOS 7′s conventions, they’ve also made profile pictures circular. Regarding this update, which brings the version number up to 4.2, Instagram notes on its blog that the focus was kept on clarity so as to keep the feel of the app “clean, simple and grounded.” Despite the fact that the app has a new look, the app icon has not been changed. Instagram for iOS 7 is available as a free download from the iTunes App Store.
