The advent of broadband technology has certainly come a long way in making sure that we no longer need to depend on the screech of the 28.8k modem to check out Facebook accounts, and the data pipes today serve up Full HD movies without breaking a sweat. Google has a grander vision for the future, as it has been reported that they are targeting data transfer speeds which are approximately 1,000 times faster compared to the average U.S. Internet connection.
