iPhone 4 Gets New Lease On Life With iOS 7.1The iPhone 4 was released back in 2010, which means that the handset is about four years old now. While the phone does support iOS 7, it’s probably in the best interest of iPhone 4 users to install the update simply because the phone is having a really hard time handling the software, or at least that’s what the reports claim.

In fact The New York Times claims that this is “planned obsolescence” which basically means that Apple is making life difficult for iPhone 4 users so that they’d ditch their phone for something newer, like the iPhone 5s perhaps.
